Melinda Steals Nicole’s Baby After Tragedy Strikes – Swaps Sloan’s Adopted Newborn?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) may go to extremes when it comes to the promise she made Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty). DOOL fans know Melinda is serving as Sloan and Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) adoption attorney, but she admitted there’s a problem.

Although there are some issues due to Sloan’s criminal brother connection and defense of Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman), Melinda offered reassurance.

After Melinda resolutely declared that she’d get Sloan a baby, it seemed almost ominous – like she might go too far in her quest to make that happen.

Sloan and Melinda have formed a genuine friendship in recent months, which is perhaps made more powerful since it’s pretty much the only one they’ve got!

No one else in Salem is clamoring to be friends with the most ruthless lawyer in town or the disgraced former DA.

That’s helped Sloan form a real bond with Melinda, who was there for Sloan when she had her miscarriage, too.

Since Melinda is so determined to get Sloan a child and prove she can be successful in her private practice, she may indeed find a birth mom who’s willing to give up her son or daughter.

This may be one of those soapy Days situations where tragedy strikes on the same night that Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) baby comes into the world.

What if the baby that Sloan and Eric are planning to adopt doesn’t make it?

Will Melinda take matters into her own hands and swap that deceased newborn for Nicole’s perfectly healthy one?

It’d be cruel considering Nicole’s Days history and the other losses she’s faced, but nobody ever said Melinda was a saint!

Melinda won’t want to see Sloan’s family dream get ripped away when she’s so close to the finish line, so Days spoilers suggest she might pull off a baby switch.

In other words, Eric could end up raising his biological child without even knowing it at first.

Sloan might also be left in the dark initially if Melinda wants to get truly sneaky about this.

Nicole might get deceived and have to mourn the loss along with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) – at least until Melinda’s potential switcheroo gets exposed!
