Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that there have been several casting changes on the Peacock sudser in the past few months. To mix things up a little bit, could TPTB be planning to bring back a particularly cunning bad boy to the canvas?
On the show’s Instagram account a recent post has fans talking about Mike Manning who played Charlie Dale). Was this a clue that the baddie is returning?

The post had a photo of several cast members together at The Hollywood Museum’s TV history exhibit. The actors in the photo were Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera), Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali), Paul Telfer (Xander Cook), Raven Bowens (Chanel Dupree), Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera), Carson Boatman (Johnny DiMera), and Tina Huang (Melinda Trask). Alum Mike Manning was also in the pic which is what got tongues wagging.
DOOL spoilers – Is Charlie Dale Returning?
Fans are speculating that Manning could return to DOOL as Charlie or a new character, something that the show likes to do with established actors.
Manning has been seen on The Bay and he also mingled with actors from the digital drama while he was at the museum. That would indicate that he was there as a member of that show, versus DOOL.
However, he did pose for a DOOL photo and it could be that where there’s smoke there’s fire especially since the photo was posted on the show’s official Instagram account.

It could also indicate that Mike Manning is filming or has filmed upcoming scenes. Maybe he appears to his troubled mom Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) in a nightmare or hallucination?
Then again, given Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) success rate at reinvigorating the dead, he may pop up in Salem as himself or with someone else’s memories.
Then again, it could be that the actor has been written into the show as a brand new character.

Days has been playing musical chairs with characters for a while now and it would not be out of the ordinary for any of the aforementioned scenarios to take place.
