Alex & Theresa’s Hot New Pairing – Stephanie Plays Matchmaker?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) is single and ready for love again, but she’ll run into some roadblocks when it comes to trying to restart her romance with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

Brady will resist his attraction to Theresa, so Days spoilers say that’ll leave the door open to some other pairing options.

However, Theresa will be involved in a new Days storyline involving Brady and Alex, so there’s the potential for some love triangle drama.

We should mention that Theresa will end up sitting next to Alex at Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) funeral, so that could give them a chance to talk and potentially hit it off.

Of course, that’ll be a somber event and not the time for flirting, but it could still lay the groundwork for what’s to come.

After Theresa catches up with Stephanie and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) later, it could lead to a matchmaker plot.

Stephanie appreciates the fact that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is being more understanding of her friendship with Alex, but she knows he’d probably feel better if Alex were dating someone else.

Plus, Stephanie genuinely cares about Alex and doesn’t want him stuck pining forever.

It’s easy to imagine Stephanie playing Cupid for Alex and Theresa under the circumstances.

Theresa will be sticking around for a while since Emily O’Brien (Gwen Rizczech) will eventually take over playing the part, so this DOOL character will be in town for new romantic possibilities.

If Stephanie does end up pushing Alex and Theresa together, will she surprise herself by getting a bit jealous? Could Stephanie feel guilty instead if it doesn’t work out?
