Days of Our Lives Recap: Tuesday, November 21 – Sloan’s Instant Baby Love – Chanel's Discovery - Holly’s Surprise Backfires

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 21, reveals that Harris Michaels’ (Steve Burton) confirmed that Gil Carter (David S. Lee) was deceased after Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) fired at him. Ava was an emotional wreck, so Harris sat her down on the sofa and got her to explain what happened.

Once Ava confirmed that Gil tried to assault her, Harris noticed her ripped blouse and wished he’d trusted his instincts since he knew the guy was trouble. After Harris comforted Ava, he took her down to the police station.

Ava feared she wouldn’t be believed, especially considering her past offenses and the fact that she just got out of a mental institution.

Ava also worried since she only recently shot someone else in self-defense, but Harris felt she had the truth on

Although Harris suggested Ava might have to trust the legal system, that worried her considering how badly things turned out for Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus).

Nevertheless, Harris remained hopeful as he received word from CSI and hoped this would be good news for Ava. While Ava was in the interrogation room alone, she got a collect call from Statesville and accepted it.

At the hospital on Tuesday’s Days episode, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) assured Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) that Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) would be found and brought to justice.

Nicole wondered what it even mattered anymore since nothing would bring their son back.

When Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) showed up with her mom’s favorite pizza, Nicole said she wasn’t hungry. Holly thought Nicole really needed to eat something, so she encouraged her to at least have one slice.

Nicole snapped that she wasn’t hungry and left Holly looking rattled, so EJ suggested maybe Holly should come back later.

At the DiMera mansion on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) reunited with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) after her trip to visit Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) in prison.

Johnny delivered some sad updates on Nicole and EJ’s baby loss, so Chanel suggested maybe they could make dinner and take it to them at the hospital.

While Chanel was in the kitchen checking out the ingredients they had on hand, Holly came home and got Johnny’s comfort over what went down with Nicole.

Chanel noticed the close moment when she walked back in and privately told Johnny that she thought Holly had a crush on him.

Johnny insisted Holly was like his little sister and felt the crush thing was impossible since she was supposedly crushing on EJ not too long ago. Chanel remained skeptical and clearly thought Holly was crushing on EJ’s handsome son instead!

At home on Tuesday’s Days episode, Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) spoke to Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) over the phone about the baby. After Sloan said Nicole must be devastated, she added that it was all her fault.

Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) overheard part of the conversation, so Sloan covered by acting like the birth mom was having a hard time giving the baby up.

Although Sloan assured Eric the adoption was still happening, she acted like she felt guilty about the situation.

Eric told Sloan that she had nothing to feel guilty for and suggested they were going to give this baby a wonderful life.

Later, Sloan showed up in Melinda’s room and held her new son. Although Sloan fell in love with the baby right away, Melinda kept having to remind her to focus on the positives and not the negatives of all this.

Once Melinda was alone with the baby again, she said everything would work out as long as his new mommy’s conscience didn’t torpedo the whole plan.

At the hospital, EJ tried to support Nicole, who cried and said she just wanted to sleep. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) stopped by to console EJ in the waiting area, so he gave his brother some advice while he was there.

When Chad lost Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), he shut himself off from the world because he didn’t want any comfort. Chad thought Nicole was doing that now and urged EJ to just be there when she eventually needed him.

Once Eric showed up in Nicole’s hospital room, he started to leave since she didn’t seem to want visitors. Nicole pushed Eric to stay since he was a man of God and she needed answers about why this happened.

Although Eric didn’t have those answers, he wound up pulling Nicole into a warm embrace. EJ spied the hug as he entered, but he didn’t seem jealous or angry.

After Eric left on Tuesday’s Days episode, EJ assured Nicole that she didn’t have to explain and wanted her to know she could lean on him as well when she was ready.

Eric admitted to Nicole that he didn’t call Chad sooner because he didn’t want to be comforted, so Nicole understood exactly how he felt.

When Eric came home to Sloan, he filled her in on Nicole’s devastation. After Eric worried Nicole wouldn’t get past this, Sloan said she stopped by to see Melinda and had something to tell him about the baby.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sloan will keep Eric in the dark on the stolen baby scheme, so this storyline is far from over!

her side.
