Finn Makes Grave Mistake with Sheila’s Ousting

It looks like Steffy Forrester realizes that Finn meant well by ordering Sheila to stay away. But at the same time, it looks like he failed to protect her. It seems his deed likely turned his wife into even more of a target, so she tells him goodbye.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Finn Fails Miserably with Sheila Carter
Finn held his ground this week as he spoke to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) in demands rather than requests. As far as John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is concerned, he probably thinks he followed through on his vow to protect his wife.
But he didn’t. Instead, he created even more danger for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). This week on Bold and the Beautiful, Finn tried to reclaim his family and put an end to the danger of Sheila Carter.
It became very clear that while Sheila pleaded for another chance, Finn wasn’t going to back down. But instead of standing on his own two feet, he inadvertently made his wife the scapegoat.
B&B Spoilers: John Finnegan Gives Steffy Forrester No Option
Everything that Finn said on Bold and the Beautiful to his nut job of a mother was true. But it looks like this time around the truth did more harm than good.
Instead of telling Sheila that he’s had enough of her and that he can’t get past the shooting, he lays it all on Steffy. John Finnegan informs his cold-blooded mother that she scares Steffy. He also said that his wife doesn’t want her around.
Plus, Sheila was under the impression Finn brought her into the house to “work things out once and for all.” Maybe he did think he could mediate a happy middle ground between his wife and his mother.
But if that was his mindset, then his wife’s frightened and angry demeanor likely put a stop to that train of thought for John Finnegan. But not for the nine-toed woman.
This fed-up son also lets Sheila know that he won’t allow her around him or the rest of his little family because of his wife. But the entire time he offered up this stern explanation on Bold and the Beautiful, something else was going on. Sheila Carter flashed dagger eyes Steffy’s way.
While Finn might not have caught Sheila Carter’s drift at the time, Steffy sure did. So, Finn’s wife likely comes away from her husband’s showdown more frightened for her life than she was before.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Finn Lacks Common Sense When Dealing with Sheila?
As soon as the door closed behind Sheila, Finn looked at Steffy as if he was waiting for her to show a sign of relief. That never came. Instead, his wife professed her never-ending love for him in one breath.
But in the next breath, she announced she couldn’t do this anymore. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers have Thursday, September 7, as the last day Steffy is on the screen for a while. This is the time during the filming of the soap where Jacqueline MacInnes Wood starts her maternity leave.
So, his frightened wife is leaving Finn as B&B gives her little option after her husband puts a target on her back. Sheila Carter made it clear that she sees Finn’s wife as a roadblock. But, if anyone is well aware of what Sheila does with roadblocks, that’s the Forrester daughter.
It seems that this very smart doctor, John Finnegan, might lack common sense in some areas. Or maybe he just couldn’t bring himself to tell his mother he didn’t want her around. So, likely without meaning to, he put it back on his wife this week on the CBS soap.
