Y&R’s Vail Bloom Celebrates Her Birthday
That’s because this Daytime Emmy-nominated actress was born on November 13, 1982, which means she’s turning 41 today! Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she spent her early years in Connecticut and Florida. Later, Bloom graduated from Princeton University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
Princeton is where Bloom’s path to daytime started. A fellow classmate asking her to star in a short film sparked her interest in acting. She joined Y&R as then assistant district attorney, Heather Stevens, in 2007. In 2008, Bloom received a Daytime Emmy nomination for her work on the soap opera.
Additional credits include the web series Angel of Death. She had television appearances on Entourage, Cold Case, Hollywood Heights, Vanderpump Rules, and Castle, to name just a few. Bloom also appeared in the TV movies A Valentine’s Date and How to Frame A Family. Recent film appearances include Surviving the Wild, Orphan Horse, and The Ghost Beyond.
Bloom is also the proud mother of two — a daughter, Charlie Olivia Grace, who was born in 2018, and a son, Jack Rene Rose, who was born in 2020.
