The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lily & Devon Winters Have A Chat

Y&R spoilers for the week of November 6th suggest Lily and Devon will get together to discuss the idea of Nate returning to the company. The show’s Executive Producer/Head Writer Josh Griffith recently caught up with Soap Opera Digest to talk about this pivotal scene.

He notes that Mamie believes Nate returning to Chancellor-Winters holds an opportunity for the cousins to mend fences. While she understands why Lily and Devon are upset, she encourages them to focus on the future.

Griffith states that during the sibling conversation, Lily will wonder if Mamie also has ulterior motives. By bringing Nate back, will she also try to oust Jill Abbott (Jess Walton)? Both Lily and Devon see the irony in their great-aunt’s actions.

After all, she’s pushing them to forgive Nate; however, she continues to have massive animosity against Ms. Abbott, even after all these years.

In addition, if Lily “allows” Mamie to boot Jill from the company, Ms. Winters feels as if she’ll be just as disloyal to Ms. Abbott as Nate was, once to her.

In the end, Lily and Devon conclude that in order to bring Nate back into the Chancellor-Winters fold, they are going to have to forgive him.

Griffith tells SOD, while the siblings are tired of the in-family fighting, they are also nervous that a “cleaning slate” means opening themselves up to another betrayal in the future by Nate.
