Young and the Restless Leak Shows Chance in Hospital?
Looks like Chance Chancellor will have a brush with death, which could bring him closer to Summer Newman. A leaked behind-the-scene photo is making rounds online, sparking speculation of a new storyline for the cop.
The snap shows what appears to be a hospital scene. Summer can be seen seemingly sitting by a hospital bed. There were also claims that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) was also there.
It’s unclear when exactly the scenes were shot or when the episode will air.
The idea of Chance being hospitalized isn’t farfetched, though. Young and the Restless seemingly dropped hints that something big is going to happen to the new chief of police.
Are These Signs Chance Will Be in Trouble?
In the previous episode of Young and the Restless, Summer Newman tells Chance Chancellor she’s relieved he’s no longer working in the field. She thinks it’s better to be behind the desk than putting his life on the line chasing the bad guys.
Summer points out that she doesn’t want anything bad to happen to her “new friend.” Could this be a hint that Chance will be in danger?
Young and the Restless spoilers also note that Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) is set to return. If Chance did get hospitalized, that would definitely be a good reason for his mom to come back to Genoa City.

Chance Chancellor’s hospital crisis could also make Summer Newman realize her true feelings for him. Young and the Restless notes that she’s been thinking about him a lot lately, even though he’s with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
If Summer is indeed by Chance’s side at the hospital, it could make her feelings for him grow even stronger. She might even open up to him while he’s supposedly unconscious.
Chance might actually hear Summer’s confession and realize he feels the same way. This could push him to reconsider his romance with Sharon, who will always be connected to Nick Newman.
Chance and Summer becoming an item could spell bad news to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), though. Young and the Restless spoilers note he seems to regret leaving Summer, especially after seeing her at Jack and Diane’s vow renewal ceremony.
