In a Young & Restless preview for the week of September 25-29, Sally surprises Adam. Read what happens and watch the preview below.

The employee shuffling at Newman Enterprises and Newman Media continued last week, with Victor taking back control of Newman Enterprises after Nick’s exit, much to Victoria’s dismay. Then Nikki forced Audra to file her former boy-toy Kyle, who was finally getting back to being on good terms with Summer. And Adam’s claim to be a changed person, again, leads to another surprising turn of events. Coming up, Adam, at Newman Enterprises, says to Victor, “Well, the gang’s all here, what’s the big mystery?” Victor declares, “From now on, you will be Nate’s assistant.”

Mamie, the long-time Abbott maid and mother figure to the Abbott children returned to town. However, it wasn’t just for a visit. In the latest preview she tells Jack, “I’m glad we’ve had this time together, but truth be told, this reunion isn’t the only reason why I’m in town.” Traci asks, “Oh no?” Mamie continues, “There’s a matter of some importance that’s brought me here.”

After Sally asked a surprised Adam out to dinner, he shocked her by kissing her at the end of their evening. He quickly apologizes and suggested they forget that happened. Well, that seems easier said than done as next week, Adam tells Sally, “I hate that I put you in an awkward position, but I would be lying if I said I’m sorry that I kissed you. I can’t stop thinking about it.”

Tucker convinced Phyllis to once again team up with him, as he needed her IT skills. However, she quickly realized she’d made another mistake when she learned Tucker was going after Jabot, and he needed her to feed him intel on her ex Billy’s finances. Desperate for the money, Phyllis agreed to the job. Coming up, a down in the dumps Phyllis is about to get a big pick-me up. Her other ex Danny walks up to Phyllis at the bar in the jazz lounge and muses, “You look like you just lost your best friend.”
