‘This Is Worse Than I Thought’ — and the Hardest Part Is Yet to Come

Victor's Family and his fake Illness YR

In a Young & Restless preview for the week of October 16- 20, how will Victor’s family react when they learn the truth?  Read what happens and watch the preview below.

Victor’s family has become concerned about his behavior as of late. After Adam’s snafu with SNA, and Sharon and Nick decided to take Kirsten Unlimited and walk away from Newman, Adam found himself out in the cold. However deciding to give him yet another chance, Victor made Adam Nate’s assistant. He also demoted Victoria as CEO of Newman and took back his company.

As Nikki became concerned about her husband, Victor made a slip-up and called Adam by Nicholas’ name. When Victoria learned about this, she became concerned and tried to talk Nick into coming back to the company to keep an eye on their father. However, Victor claimed to Nikki that he called Adam the wrong name on purpose, and that he was putting things into motion as he was sure someone was scheming to stab him in the back.

Coming up, Nick tells Victoria and Nikki that Victor is fading, and he thinks it’s happening faster than he ever could have imagined. Victoria gasps, “This is even worse than I thought.” As Victor appears to be weakened and exhausted at his desk, Nick says they need to do whatever it takes to get their dad the help he needs.

However, Nick, Victoria and even Adam don’t know that Victor is playing them all. Is Victor right, and is one of his own family members about to betray him? Or could it be Nate, who he thinks is the most trustworthy of them all!

Be sure to read our Young & Restless spoilers to find out who turns the tables on Tucker, and who crosses a line.
