Viewers of The Young and the Restless have been watching on the edge of their seats as the Newmans faced yet another drama-filled turning point in their lives. And while this past week it was a race to save Nikki, which led Victoria and Cole to be reunited with their “back-from-the-dead” daughter, they weren’t the only ones to have a family reunion. Chance may not have been involved in the goings-on at the lake house, but his portrayer, Conner Floyd, was at the center of a family reunion of another sort.

The actor’s mom, Gina Floyd, took to social media to share photos from her family’s time on the soap set, and stated, “Best week ever! Thankful and grateful.”

There was a shot of the group outside the CBS Studios before they made their way inside. Once they arrived at Floyd’s workplace, they found a taping already in progress. The camera panned to Genoa City’s Society set, which was all decked out for the holidays, and the proud mama even shared a pic with her son from inside Victor’s office, as well as one standing in the Athletic Club, before closing out the post with a solo shot of Floyd in the doorway of the costume department.

Floyd isn’t the only one who has had family visit the set lately… Last month, Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) brought her kids to work to help with a special project her daughter Natalia was doing for school.

After that, Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) arrived with her little boy Caden and recalled a very difficult time in her life.

While we look forward to seeing what our favorite soap characters have in store for us each day, it’s always fun when the stars’ real life meshes with their reel one!
