Week of October 9 – Summer’s Big Change, Secret Schemes and Romantic Second Thoughts
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 9-13 reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will have a fun bash in honor of their nuptials.
That’ll bring a vow renewal and some surprises as the guests help the recently married couple celebrate. Diane and Jack’s party should set the stage for some curveballs, so don’t miss how things play out.
Other Y&R spoilers say Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will have second thoughts and act accordingly.
Will Summer change her mind about attending the gathering or could this involve something related to her love life?
There’s a chance Summer will rethink her decision to give up on a future with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), especially if Jack and Diane’s vows tug at her heartstrings.
That could lead to Summer making one final pitch to reconcile, but Kyle might shut her down hard and force her to lean on Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) for support.
Of course, it’s possible Summer will consider making her move with Chance instead – only to change her mind at the last second.
Summer could be tempted to come clean to Chance about her feelings, but she might bail on the idea before making a confession.
Whatever the case, it sounds like Summer’s emotions will be all over the place, so she’ll have a lot to mull over.
Next, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will make a stunning move that Kyle doesn’t see coming.
There’ll be some shocker that leaves Kyle with a great deal to think about as well, so Audra might want to be hookup buddies again.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) pushed Audra to get Kyle back in her bed – perhaps as part of some shady contingency plan regarding a Jabot takeover.
Regardless, Tucker will continue to scheme, so that’ll put him on the hot seat with Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James).
Since Devon will suspect that Tucker is back to his old tricks and stirring up trouble again, he’ll put his bio dad through an interrogation.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will move forward with a plot that he hopes will result in bringing his family together.
As far as Victor’s concerned, his big idea will lead to good news for the Newman clan.
Naturally, that may be wishful thinking since Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) show no signs of dropping their attempts to take each other down.
Likewise, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has no interest in returning to Newman Enterprises, so Victor will have his work cut out for him if he wants his plan to come together.
As for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), she may remain torn between Adam and Nick – whether she wants to admit she has a conflicted heart or not!
