Victoria Fails Victor’s Test Miserably – Loses Co-CEO Spot as Father Retaliates?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be eager to see how his kids react to the news of his rapid mental decline. Although Victor isn’t actually suffering from signs of dementia, he’ll certainly make it seem that way to his children.
Now that Victor is pretending to forget key details and acting like he can’t keep things straight, there’ll be concerns about his well-being and what’s next for the company.
Of course, Victor will be watching and waiting to find out who’ll act selfish and greedy in the midst of all this.
The goal is to observe the behavior of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) as well as Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) since he’s in the COO role.
Victoria has been pushing the idea of Victor’s mental decline ever since he took back the throne, but it mostly just seemed like a plot to regain control – at least at first.
Now Victoria’s starting to sense that there might be some truth to it, but she may still display some self-centered behavior as Victor’s mental state appears to worsen.
During the week of October 16-20, Y&R spoilers say Victor will decide to move beyond little slipups and forgetfulness.
It’ll be time for Victor to kick things up a notch, so he’ll apparently do something quite troubling.
It’s possible Victor will act like he’s lost and can’t find his way home or something along those lines.
Victor might even pretend he doesn’t recognize someone he’s known for years – like a member of his own family.
Whatever the case, Victor’s going to do something extreme to take his test to the next level. Victoria could fail miserably if she seems more concerned about the CEO seat than her own father.
This may become a situation where Victor feels like Victoria is taking advantage of his fake vulnerability and becoming a backstabber in the process.
After all, this wouldn’t be a very exciting storyline if Victor happily announces they all passed the test in the end!
Someone’s bound to fail, so maybe it’ll be Victoria who does something that Victor views as a betrayal.
In the aftermath of Victor’s test, he’ll find a way to retaliate against someone. Will Victoria lose the co-CEO seat over her actions?
