Victor Gives Adam Newman Media CEO Reward – Victoria Furious Over Shakeup?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could finally get his wish when it comes to Newman Media. Y&R fans know Adam has been rather obsessed with regaining control of the media division, so he’s tried plenty of tactics to get his hands on it.
However, Adam’s trying a new strategy now that he’s willing to start at the bottom and work his way up at Newman Enterprises.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is definitely testing Adam’s patience since he’s hired his son as Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) assistant, but there’s no better way for Adam to prove himself.
Of course, Victor isn’t so sure he buys Adam’s new-and-improved act. That’s fair since Victor’s been burned by Adam and his ulterior motives on more than one occasion.
Adam indeed seems to have an agenda, but he might actually get something he wants if he can play by Victor’s rules and impress him in the coming months.
Although Victor has reclaimed the CEO seat at Newman Enterprises, he might be willing to make another shakeup in leadership at Newman Media.
Victor put Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in charge over there, but he’s been changing his mind a lot lately and could change it once again.
If Adam can truly show Victor loyalty and avoid any major blunders, perhaps Victor will give Nikki another job and let Adam slide back in the Newman Media CEO role.
Nikki might even want to take a step back from business by then, so the timing could work out well for Adam.
On the other hand, Nikki might become Victor’s co-CEO and leave Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wondering where she’s going to fit at the company.
Victoria’s fury could be unleashed once more if she feels like Adam’s getting rewarded while she continues to get punished.
Regardless, there’d be some great reasons to put Adam back in charge at Newman Media. It could lead to drama with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), so she could easily quit or get fired.
There’s also Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to consider since she could get promoted and grow closer to Adam if the show plans to pair them up.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is on the verge of dumping Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) so she can figure out her future, but she might need another nudge before she’ll choose Adam.
Jealousy can be a powerful motivator, so watching Adam and Claire bond might do the trick!
Whatever the case, Adam can’t be Nate’s gopher forever, so what will Victor’s endgame for Adam turn out to be? Will Victor reinstate Adam as the CEO of Newman Media?
