Tucker’s Car Crash Took Out Claire’s Parents – Monte Carlo Accident Victims?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that there may be more to the story of why Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) applied for a position in Genoa City. It’s not like being Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) assistant is some dream job, so Claire may have a hidden agenda.
Of course, Claire will say all the right things during her interview with Nikki and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) on the October 2 episode.
After Claire claims chaotic big city life isn’t for her, she’ll add that she prefers to live somewhere that’s real and honest.
However, real and honest may not be an accurate description of Claire herself! Claire seems just a little too good to be true, so we have to consider what she might be hiding.
During the interview, Claire will mention that both her parents passed away in a car accident when she was young, so she was raised by her great-aunt.
That seems like a weirdly specific fact for Claire’s backstory.
Why are Y&R writers immediately eliminating two potential family members for Claire on her first airdate?
There has to be a reason why, so maybe it’s because this car accident is quite significant and connects to another key player on canvas.
When Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) first returned to the show, he brought up the Monte Carlo car crash that changed everything.
Tucker acted like it was the wake-up call he needed since he almost lost his life.
What if Claire’s parents were vacationing in Monte Carlo and became victims of that accident? Could Tucker be responsible for making Claire an orphan?
Tucker is the king of cover-ups and might’ve made any criminal charges go away. Perhaps Tucker was able to brush a lot under the rug when it came to the crash.
If so, it’s possible Claire knows that and plans to go after Tucker for revenge.
Claire will tell Audra that the memories are always there when it comes to her deceased parents, so it’s clear that she’s not over what happened.
It’s worth mentioning that Claire will seem to know an awful lot about Tucker and his former company during this meeting.
Claire will even know that Audra used to work for Tucker, so is she just a great researcher or could Tucker be her target?
