The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, November 9, reveal that there’ll be a lot at stake for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Now that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has been fired from Newman Enterprises, he’s furious with Victoria for not having his back.

It’s clear that there’s no path forward for Nate at Newman Enterprises now that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) considers him a traitor.

However, Victoria still has to worry about her personal relationship with Nate and whether it can survive this professional blow.

There was always a risk to getting together romantically since Victoria and Nate’s lives are so completely intertwined.

At this point, it’s just a matter of whether Nate and Victoria care enough about each other to make this work.

It’s easy to imagine Victoria making a dramatic love declaration and insisting that this doesn’t have to change anything for them as a couple.

Nevertheless, Nate will get into another argument with Victoria on Thursday’s Y&R episode.

No matter what Victoria believes about their future, Nate may not think they have one anymore – especially since her family thinks he can’t be trusted.

Of course, Victoria isn’t sure she can forgive Victor for his deception, but Nate may seriously doubt that she’s going to walk away from Newman Enterprises.

Unless Victoria’s willing to take a bold stand like that, Nate might insist their romance is over.

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will face a life-changing decision since Victor wants him to make a Newman comeback.

Part of Nick may be tempted to rejoin the family fold now that Nate’s been given the boot, but another part of him may be wary of getting sucked back into all the drama.

Nick might find himself torn between wanting to be there to keep Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in line and keeping his word to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about helping with her own venture.

While Nick mulls over this important choice, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will face a setback when it comes to his renewed flying sparks with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).

Although Christine’s old feelings are bubbling up again, she’ll feel the need to establish some boundaries with Danny.

Since Christine isn’t ready for more than friendship, she’ll establish some rules to keep things in more friendly territory.

That news may disappoint Danny a bit, but he’ll understand Christine’s perspective since she’s still getting over her failed marriage to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson).

Of course, we should mention that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will still be unconscious in the hospital, so Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will both be eager to confess their true feelings for him before the week winds down.
