The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is under major pressure right now since sales are dipping at Marchetti – not to mention they’re gearing up for their extremely important spring line.

Summer worked well as a team with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) thought it’d be best if Kyle moved on after their marriage blew up.

Things were awfully strained for a while, so Kyle indeed resigned and agreed to let Summer run Marchetti without him.

However, it’s clear that flying solo is taking a toll on Summer, who’s worried that she could crash and burn alone.

That’s led to some feuding with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) since Chloe and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) aren’t delivering the quality that Summer expects.

Of course, this seems like a case of Summer being a perfectionist and perhaps overcompensating for Kyle’s departure.

Summer has become too demanding and impossible to deal with, but she might mellow if Kyle made a Marchetti comeback.

Kyle and Summer have worked together before as exes, so there’s no reason they couldn’t do it again – especially now that they’re on friendlier terms.

Chloe and Chelsea might scheme to get Kyle back running Marchetti alongside Summer since she trusts that partnership.

At some point, it might even dawn on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that this could be a potential solution to his family dilemma.

Y&R fans know Kyle wants Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) co-CEO job at Jabot, but Jack is reluctant to throw Billy out of the position without a real reason and implode his life.

Since Kyle was perfectly happy at Marchetti before Jack pushed him to leave, maybe Jack will decide Kyle should slide back into his old Marchetti role and run it with Summer.

Since Summer’s feeling so overwhelmed, she might admit she needs help and even ask Kyle to return for Marchetti’s sake.

Summer could be Kyle’s co-CEO or potentially go back to being Marchetti’s creative director since her opinion is the only one she trusts when it comes to their fashion offerings.

Regardless, this could throw a real wrench in Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) plans since she’s roped Kyle into her alliance with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

Would Kyle consider returning to Marchetti if Summer asked him to? If so, it could make Audra wonder if Kyle’s lingering feelings for Summer are driving that decision.
