Sally’s Job Offer for Adam – Nick Stunned Over Brother’s New Boss?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will plan to go after the vengeance he’s craving. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has pushed Adam too far this time, so Adam is gearing up for another sinister turn.
However, there’s a chance Adam might find a distraction that keeps him from going too far off the rails. Could Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) be the one to save Adam from his worst impulses?
Sally will eventually get updates on Victor casting Adam aside and leaving him with nothing. Adam was hoping to run Newman Media again, but Sally won’t be surprised that his dreams were dashed.
Based on Victor’s decisions in the August 31 episode, he wants Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in charge of Newman Media while Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) becomes her COO.
Victor is also hoping that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will become Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) co-CEO, so Sally may feel a little bad for Adam under the circumstances. This could easily create a situation where Sally and Adam commiserate over their recent setbacks.
Adam and Sally already lost Ava Spectra, so that’s something that’ll forever bond them. Of course, Victor also yanked away the design division that he promised Sally, so she knows how he operates and may empathize with unemployed Adam.
Although Sally ultimately turned down Adam’s job offer, maybe it’ll be her turn to offer him a position soon. After all, Sally is starting a new business thanks to Nick’s promise to invest.
Perhaps Sally will ask Adam to join her team and shock Nick with this huge news. This would be a good way to create some strife in Sally’s relationship with Nick.
Although Nick’s supposed to be hands-off and let Sally run things the way she wants, he’d have a big problem with her hiring Adam. Nick might not go as far as forbidding it, but he’d definitely voice his disapproval.
Naturally, this could also present an opportunity for Sally and Adam to grow closer while working together, so it’d be a great direction to take this Y&R story in.
