Nick’s Hot Rebound with Phyllis – Sally’s Bedroom Replacement?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may find himself on the rebound now that he’s dumped Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Nick doesn’t believe Sally is truly committed to him and has become worried that she’s always going to be drawn back to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Of course, Nick probably should’ve thought about that before he got together with his brother’s ex!

This isn’t the first time Nick’s gotten burned because he shared a love interest with Adam and probably won’t be the last.

Nick got himself into this mess when he should’ve known better, but that doesn’t change his pain in the aftermath of the breakup news.

Things could get even tougher for Nick if he has to watch Sally and Adam reunite, so how might Nick choose to cope?

Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has been hoping Nick can find a way to forgive Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for her mistakes.

Whether Nick reaches a place of forgiveness or not, hitting the sheets with Phyllis is always something he’s been good at.

Y&R fans know Phyllis hasn’t had any bedroom action in a long time, so she’d probably welcome a hot hookup with Nick right about now.

That’s especially true since Phyllis will grow increasingly frustrated with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and his desire to reunite with Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell).

Phyllis obviously isn’t a big fan of Christine and will no doubt feel like Danny’s making a big mistake.

It almost seems like some romantic stirrings may be bubbling back up for Phyllis when it comes to Danny.

That could lead to Phyllis commiserating with Nick, who’ll be feeling like Sally deserves better than Adam while simultaneously feeling an “Ally” reunion was inevitable.

Even if Nick isn’t ready to move past the trouble Phyllis caused when she faked her demise, he might put his issues with her aside.

It’d be interesting if Nick and Phyllis sought some mutual comfort in bed for a night or perhaps a no-strings-attached fling.
