Monday, September 11 – Victoria Promotes Nate for Co-CEO – Sally’s Alarm Bells

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 11, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will clear the air with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as they try to figure out where they stand.

Adam wasn’t happy about Victor casting him out of all things Newman, but he assured Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) that he wants to change.

Of course, Y&R fans know Adam has screwed up more times than anyone can count, but a little part of Victor would like to believe change is indeed possible.

That’s why Victor will apparently give Adam one last chance to prove himself.

If Adam can show Victor that he’s not going to go off the rails and self-destruct again, there might still be a future for him somewhere at Newman Enterprises.

However, Victor might need to see evidence of Adam’s reset before he can even think about where his son might fit in the family business.

Trust needs to be rebuilt, but Victor may be open to doing that over time.

Unfortunately, Adam tends to let his vengeful side take over, so that could become a problem if he focuses on that instead of this final opportunity.

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will mull over his future following Sharon’s pitch to team up at Kirsten Incorporated without anyone else interfering.

Victor won’t be hovering and Adam won’t be commandeering, so Sharon and Nick can do things their way.

Nick will eventually accept Sharon’s offer to come work with her, but that’ll set off some alarm bells for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Although Sally supported the idea of Nick leaving Newman Enterprises behind, she’ll start to realize he’ll now be spending an awful lot of time with his ex-wife!

Nick is still quite close to Sharon, so Sally may worry that this working arrangement is only going to bring them closer.

Once Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) gets updates on Nick’s decision to reject the co-CEO position and move on, she’ll think that’s good news for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Victoria will want to promote Nate and let him share the Newman throne with her, but Victor will refuse to let that happen later during the week of September 11-15.
