Melissa Claire Egan Talks Chelsea’s Return – Already Shot First Y&R Episode Back

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) has wrapped up her maternity leave and will soon make a big comeback in Genoa City. Many viewers have been curious about when Egan will return to the role of Chelsea, so let’s talk about some good news.

When one fan reached out on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, and expressed how much they were missing Chelsea, Egan replied to let them know the wait wouldn’t be too much longer.

“Soon! A few more weeks;) Already shot my first episode back,” Melissa Claire Egan confirmed.

Of course, that led to several Y&R watchers sharing how happy they were about Chelsea Lawson’s homecoming.

Chelsea no doubt has some great drama waiting for her once she finally heads back to GC.

However, it’s also possible Billy and Chelsea’s reunion could get awkward if the magic is gone.

There could be a struggle to reconnect, especially if Billy gets too caught up in the Jabot drama and this feud with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
