The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) could get a reminder of how much he’s lost, but he could also realize there’s still a chance to get it back. Y&R fans know Kyle and Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) marriage fell apart, but is this couple really over for good?

Kyle and Summer’s relationship seems like one of those soapy romances that always comes back around sooner or later.

Sometimes it’s just a matter of letting a few storylines play out and eventually creating the perfect storm for a reunion.

That could be the case with Summer and Kyle depending on how things play out for them in the coming months.

Kyle has grown closer to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) lately, but their bond is complicated since it’s all tangled up in this Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) alliance now.

That could lead to trouble down the road since Kyle seems poised to bail on that partnership.

Regardless, Kyle and Audra’s relationship isn’t built on anything substantial.

Although Audra and Kyle have a very physical connection, their chemistry in the bedroom can’t sustain them and help them build a real future.

Summer was someone who Kyle connected with in every way, but he seems to have forgotten that at the moment.

Perhaps Kyle will get a reminder if he’s forced to watch Summer connect with someone else – namely Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) since Summer’s on the verge of confessing her feelings to him.

Summer is falling hard for Chance and could ultimately steal him away from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

If that happens, Kyle may have to witness the beginning of Summer’s new love story – and that could serve as a huge wake-up call.

Y&R could use all this to stir up some jealousy for Kyle and make him realize he’s not ready to let Summer go after all.

It might bring a turning point that leads to the old Kyle coming back – the version of Kyle who’s willing to fight to put his family with Summer and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) back together.
