Elena & Adam’s Revenge Alliance – Join Forces on Nate’s Takedown?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the show needs to find a new storyline for Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), who is rarely seen these days. Whenever Elena does pop up briefly, it’s usually just to talk about how tired she is after constant hospital shifts!
Brytni Sarpy deserves better material than that, so maybe Y&R writers should have Elena cook up a new scheme with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Elena and Adam aren’t normally the type of characters who’d team up, but that’s exactly why they should!
It’d be an unexpected alliance, which would be interesting for drama’s sake.
It would also help Adam and Elena conceal what they’re up to together since nobody would suspect their connection.
Deep down, Elena would surely still like to make Nate pay for cheating on her and totally changing his personality.
Nate turned into a different person when he entered the business world and set Elena up for heartbreak with his cruel behavior.
Adam also has good reasons to target Nate, so let’s talk about those for a moment.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) seems to value inexperienced Nate’s input more than Adam’s, so that’s strike one against him.
Victor also ordered Adam to serve as Nate’s assistant, which is really getting under Adam’s skin.
Things may get worse once Nate’s barking orders at Adam, which could leave him determined to get Nate out of Newman Enterprises altogether.
Perhaps Adam will hope that he can push Nate out and take over his position as COO.
Once Victor eventually retires, Adam could then plan to land back on the Newman throne.
Of course, Adam might need some help to take Nate down, which is where Elena could come in.
Elena might be able to supply some Nate-related dirt that hasn’t come to light yet – or maybe she could help Adam set some sort of trap for Nate instead.
There’d be a chance for Adam and Elena to grow closer in the midst of all this, so we wouldn’t mind a passionate fling!
It’d be a good way to make Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) jealous if she eventually found out.
Bottom line, Adam has a long list of reasons to target Nate – and Elena could become just the person for Adam to team up with on Nate’s downfall.
