The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that a recent cast decision could point to a major rewrite that’ll change the Newman family forever. J. Eddie Peck is headed back to Y&R as Cole Howard, so fans can look forward to a stunning reunion between Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and her ex-husband.

Back in the late ‘90s, Cole and Victoria had a baby girl that supposedly didn’t make it.

The duo’s daughter was named Eve Nicole Howard after Cole’s mother, Eve Howard (Margaret Mason).

We should mention that the show will air an intriguing repeat choice on Thanksgiving Day.

The encore episode that’ll play on November 23 will be from 1993 – and it’ll mostly be about Eve Howard and the drama she stirred up.

It almost seems like Y&R wants to give longtime fans a memory refresher and offer updates to newer fans who might not know much about the original Eve Howard, who was her granddaughter’s namesake.

In other words, they may be trying to give viewers a little history lesson ahead of some major revelations involving Eve and Aunt Jordan (Collen Zenk) in Oregon.

Regardless, the idea of Victoria having a long-lost daughter is intriguing.

It definitely wouldn’t be the first time a soap has undone a baby’s demise and let them reenter the picture as an adult.

Since Cole will appear onscreen again before November’s over, he’s obviously going to be tied to this storyline with Claire in some way.

It makes sense that Victoria and Cole might face the wild twist of their daughter’s survival together.

Cole might be another name on Claire and Aunt Jordan’s list of victims!

Of course, there are still questions to consider – like why Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has been the one primarily targeted throughout all of this.

The attack on Nikki is quite personal and involves something that Claire clearly blames Nikki for.

However, it’s easy to see that Aunt Jordan is shady and has been manipulating Claire her entire life.

Jordan has weaponized Claire against the Newman clan with her own warped version of events, so her side of the story may not be all that accurate.

No matter how this plays out, it’s worth considering the possibility that Claire could actually be Eve Nicole Howard, the daughter Victoria and Cole thought they lost when she was just a newborn.
