Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that an iconic set will suffer some major damage. DOOL released an extended preview video at Day of Days that showed a fire raging in the Horton house, so they’re going to burn the set as part of a new storyline.

In that promo, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) can be seen watching in horror as the flames engulf the Horton living room.

Ever since the news leaked about the Horton house blaze, fans have been buzzing about it. Some viewers are upset at the thought of this classic set being destroyed while others are looking at it as a chance to give the space a long overdue facelift.

Perhaps it all depends on how different they plan to make the Horton living room look once it’s refurbished and brought back!

Regardless, the Christmas festivities will proceed as planned. The Horton living room was used for filming holiday scenes, so no one has to worry about missing the usual tree trimming and warm family moments there.

Days spoilers say the Horton house fire won’t break out until after 2024 kicks off, so that also gives us time to speculate on who might cause this disaster.

In a situation like this, there’s usually going to be a mystery fire starter. It seems likely someone will specifically target the Horton house, but who will do it and why?

Julie and Doug Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) don’t exactly have a lot of enemies at this point in their lives, so maybe it’s better to focus on Chad’s involvement here.

Days spoilers say Chad and Everett Lynch’s (Blake Berris) feud over Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will spiral out of control in the coming months, so it’s possible Everett will try to burn the house down with Chad inside.

If Everett’s coma story is true, then he may have some lingering mental issues – perhaps issues that could drive him to do some sinister things.

Blake Berris can play dangerous characters awfully well and proved that back when he portrayed Nick Fallon.

Everett certainly seems like the type of character who could resort to some terrible behavior, especially since he’ll be trying to clear his own path to Stephanie.

Of course, it’s possible there’ll be another explanation like Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) playing with matches or even some old enemy resurfacing against Chad and those closest to him.
