The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, October 23, reveals that Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) visit to the Forrester mansion will leave her wondering what’s up. Since Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) will seem uneasy and preoccupied, Katie will feel like she must be missing something.

However, Katie will choose to let it go and perhaps accept that if they wanted her to know more, Donna and Eric would tell her.

Once Katie is gone, Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) will make another house call and admit he believes he’s found the source of Eric’s troubles.

The doc will finally have an explanation for the tremors, bloody coughing fits and other symptoms that have plagued Eric lately.

Unfortunately, Dr. Colby will reveal a diagnosis that apparently doesn’t offer much hope for the future. Eric will get updates on the reality of his condition and lean on Donna for support.

When Katie comes back to get the phone she left behind, she’ll inadvertently overhear the dreadful news.

As a result, Katie will make her presence known and get Donna’s confession about everything Eric’s been grappling with.

Eric will also share his side of the story and help Katie understand why this final collection matters so much to him.

While Katie makes a vow of silence for Eric’s sake, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) will consider breaking his own promise to his grandad.

The longer RJ has to keep the secret of Eric’s health crisis under wraps, the harder it’s getting to lie to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

There’ll be a situation on Monday’s B&B episode that adds to the stress for RJ, so he’ll be tempted to just come clean.

Ridge may toot his own horn about how he’s going to crush the competition and essentially teach Eric a lesson.

The thought of Eric losing the challenge after pouring everything he had into it will no doubt worry RJ.

Part of RJ may think he should confess so that Ridge will go easy on his father, but he’ll ultimately decide against leaking the truth.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say this fashion showdown will lead to some surprises – and that may include some unpleasant ones as Eric’s health worsens.
