Once Sheila hears about Eric’s situation, it could be that she takes a trip down memory lane. And on her stroll she could discover some long buried feelings for Eric!
She’s involved with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) but he is paying the price for their relationship. His daughter Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) wants nothing to do with him because of his involvement with Sheila.
Maybe Sheila will conclude that she is doing Deacon a favor by dumping him in favor of Eric?

If Sheila cozied up to Eric she would also be in proximity to her son John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) who is married to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Eric’s granddaughter.
Sheila may get the idea that being with Eric would give her a clear path to Finn and by extension her grandson Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks).

Eric is the patriarch of the family and if he accepted Sheila everyone else would have to as well.
Sheila wants to have a real relationship with her son and grandson more than anything else in the world and she is the kind of woman who will do whatever it takes to get what she wants.
Can you imagine how chuffed Sheila would be to have her portrait up in the Forrester living room?
Eric is with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) but it would not bother Sheila to dispense with Donna and install herself as lady of the manor.
We’re not saying that Eric would fall into Sheila’s arms at the drop of a hat, but with enough time and charm, Sheila could work her magic—she did it once before!
