Recap – Sheila Plots to Eliminate Steffy – Deacon Fears New Crime

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, August 25, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) begged Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to come back to him and vowed to keep Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) away.

Finn added that he’d give his life for Steffy, who pointed out that he almost did in the alley that night. There were flashbacks as Steffy recalled the horror Sheila put them through and how she ultimately held Finn prisoner.

Finn insisted the thought of Steffy felt him alive and helped him get back to his family. Although Finn still couldn’t explain why he hugged Sheila, he called it one of the biggest mistakes of his life.

Whatever connection Finn had with Sheila couldn’t compare to the love he had for Steffy and the kids. Steffy assured Finn that she didn’t want to be apart and that she really hoped they could find their way back together.

After Steffy said she still loved Finn, he replied that he could live with that. Finn just needed to know that Steffy still loved and believed in him, so he touched her face tenderly before they shared a kiss.

At Spencer Publications, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) gave Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) updates on Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) calling him over to ask for forgiveness.

After Liam revealed that he couldn’t get over what happened with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), he said Hope would probably never get over his history with Steffy either. Wyatt assumed that Steffy was the reason why Liam wasn’t exactly running back to his wife.

Liam acknowledged that he shouldn’t have kissed Steffy and claimed he never wanted to be a homewrecker. That said, Liam had lost respect for Finn now because of what happened on the beach and with Sheila.

Liam pointed out that Finn had Sheila’s DNA, so he couldn’t take a chance with the kids’ safety.

Once Wyatt left, Liam gazed at a framed photo of himself with Steffy and Kelly Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza).

“I’m not gonna let anything hurt you, Steffy,” Liam declared.

After another wild hookup, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) told Sheila that they couldn’t keep doing this. Sheila felt she was irresistible to Deacon, who admitted he couldn’t seem to stay away from her.

Once Sheila hoped that Finn felt the same one day, Deacon expressed doubt about them having a real relationship. Sheila argued that things would be very different if Steffy wasn’t in Finn’s life.

That comment worried Deacon, who said Sheila had been known to act on some dangerous hypotheticals before. Deacon warned Sheila not to do anything that would put her back behind bars, but Sheila promised she wasn’t going anywhere.

After Sheila vowed to stay right there, she remained determined to be part of Finn’s world.

At Forrester Creations on Friday’s B&B episode, Eric Forrester (John McCook) continued to rant about the stapler that had been thrown out because it was old and didn’t work anymore.

Eric felt like Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was treating him the same way and complained about everyone using his office as a common space.

Although Ridge hadn’t been listening or respecting his father, Eric warned that was going to stop right now. Ridge suggested that if Eric wanted him to retire, there’d be no one to run the place.

Steffy was a great CEO, but she didn’t know design in the same way. Ridge argued that Thomas wasn’t ready, and RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) didn’t even want to be in the fashion business.

However, Eric insisted he could run things and that people thought of his name – not Ridge’s – when they thought of Forrester Creations.

Eric finally declared that he was going to create this legacy line and that it’d be the crowning achievement of his career.

It was happening with or without Ridge’s help, so Eric said he could go now. There was plenty of tension as Ridge stormed out.
