The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 6, reveals that Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) was excited about the big party, but Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) had something to tell him in the CEO office.

Ridge confessed that Eric Forrester (John McCook) was dying and offered updates on their dad’s terminal diagnosis, so a devastated Thorne didn’t know how he was supposed to keep pretending everything was fine.

Ridge insisted that was how Eric wanted it and comforted Thorne as best as he could. Once Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) arrived, she also hugged Thorne and said she was so sorry.

Next on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) showed up in the design office, where Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) broke the news about Eric’s fatal illness.

Brooke and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) tried to console Bridget, who sobbed over Eric running out of time.

Bridget was angry since was just now hearing about this and didn’t like the idea of having to put up a front around Eric. As Bridget cried harder, Brooke pulled her into a warm embrace.

At the Forrester guest house, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) helped Eric get dressed and asked if he had the strength to pull this off. Eric was adamant about the party moving forward so he could have one last family gathering.

Once Eric and Donna made their way to the main house, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) appeared and wondered if Eric was sure about going through with the bash. Eric insisted he was, so Katie eventually hid his oxygen for him as he prepared for his guests.

Back at Forrester Creations, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) was looking stylish for the party along with RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

After Zende confirmed that he knew the truth about Eric now, he apologized for coming down so hard on RJ before.

Bridget, Thorne, Ridge, Steffy, Brooke, Hope and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) all gathered as well, so Ridge reminded them how important it was to put their game faces on tonight.

At the Forrester mansion, Brooke, Ridge and Hope arrived with some special guests in tow, so Bridget and Thorne walked in for a reunion with Eric.

Eric was thrilled to see Bridget again and called her his sweet girl as they embraced. Thorne also got a hug from Eric, who was grateful that his son showed up in the nick of time.

After Thorne insisted he wouldn’t miss this for the world, Eric said his kids were the best thing he ever did in his life.

RJ, Luna, Zende, Thomas and Carter all filed in next, so Eric greeted each of them with some kind words.

Once the party kicked off, Eric offered a toast and expressed his gratitude since this night meant so much to him.

After Eric talked about how he wanted happiness, music and positive energy, he toasted to joy and laughter as they all raised a glass. There was a slightly tense vibe due to the guests’ effort to conceal what they knew.
