Wednesday, August 30 – Deacon Stashes Sheila While Ridge Rages – Steffy’s Unexpected Visitor

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 30, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) showed up with a takeout bag at Forrester Creations, so Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) admitted it was a nice surprise.

Finn played a guessing game with Steffy before revealing he visited the ramen truck she liked and hoped she was willing to take a break with him.

After Finn told Steffy how much he missed her, he acknowledged that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) wasn’t the only reason for their issues – though he did think Liam wanted another chance with Steffy.

However, Finn knew Steffy moved out because of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), so he made another speech about how he’d do everything in his power to keep Steffy and the kids safe.

Steffy was still having nightmares about Sheila, but she appreciated Finn pouring his heart out like this. Finn insisted he’d have nothing to do with Sheila and said he couldn’t spend another night away from Steff.

After Finn and Steffy expressed their love, they kissed passionately. Finn vowed that no one would keep them apart and assured Steffy that he was hers forever.

At the Forrester mansion, Eric Forrester (John McCook) squeezed a stress ball to help with his arthritis and told RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) what to sketch. When Eric tried to take over on one part, he grew frustrated over his hand freezing up on him.

Eric admitted that Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) knew about his struggles and confessed it was hard to watch his life’s work slipping through his fingers. RJ realized this is why Eric had trouble designing on Hope for the Future when Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was off the line.

Although Eric took a hiatus after Thomas came back and tried to return to designing recently, his pain just kept getting worse. Eric maintained that he didn’t want Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) or anyone else to know out of pride.

Since Eric still had all these ideas, he grumbled over not being able to put them on paper. Although RJ said he’d assist his granddad on anything he needed, he suggested he could teach Eric to draw and design on a computer.

At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) apartment, he claimed he was getting dressed while Ridge and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) waited impatiently at the door. That gave Sheila a chance to hide in another room and eavesdrop once Deacon let his visitors inside.

Deacon was upset over Ridge telling Carter about his past with Sheila, but Carter made it clear that he’d keep it under wraps – though he was visibly disgusted over Deacon’s involvement with her.

Although Carter and Ridge wanted to know where Sheila was, Deacon repeatedly claimed he didn’t know. Furthermore, Deacon didn’t see how Ridge and Carter could get any kind of court order against Sheila since she was a free woman.

Ridge thought it sounded like Deacon was defending Sheila, but Deacon denied that and acted offended over this interrogation. After Deacon said he wanted to keep Sheila in the past, he vowed to tell Ridge if he saw or heard from her.

Ridge was skeptical about Deacon having no contact with Sheila and offered a warning. Sheila was a threat to Ridge’s family, so anyone who helped Sheila was a threat, too.

Ridge pointed out that his family included Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) before leaving with Carter.

Once Deacon was alone, Sheila came out of hiding and acknowledged that she’d made things difficult for him. After Sheila expressed her gratitude, she suggested Deacon was the only one who cared about her besides Finn.

Sheila reflected on when Finn hugged her, so she talked about feeling his relief and love. Although Sheila promised she wouldn’t mess things up for Deacon, she vowed that Finn would embrace her and that she’d be in his life forever.

As Wednesday’s B&B episode wrapped up, eerie music played while Sheila looked both devious and determined.
