Tuesday, August 29 – Hope & Thomas’ Office Passion Erupts – Brooke & Steffy’s Mystery

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 29, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) remained worried about vulnerable Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and feared her divorce from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) would actually go through.

When Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) walked in the main office, he pointed out that Hope and Liam hadn’t actually returned the papers for file yet.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) said there was still a chance for Hope to fix her marriage, especially if she was sincere about wanting nothing to do with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

However, Steffy wasn’t sure Hope and Liam’s relationship could be fixed overnight.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was concerned about Thomas undoing all the progress he’d made, but he ultimately turned his attention to a secret meeting with Carter. That left Brooke and Steffy puzzled about what Ridge and Carter were up to.

In the design office, Thomas said he never wanted to stop kissing Hope and assured her that she didn’t deserve to feel rejected or vie for Liam’s attention. Thomas thought Hope should be with someone who truly loved her and trashed Liam for looking to the past for nostalgia.

After Thomas talked about their Rome kiss and incredible moments in bed together, he made it clear that he only wanted Hope and wasn’t chasing nostalgia like Liam.

Hope was overwhelmed, but Thomas assured her that he was reformed and urged her to let him love her like no one else could.

After Hope admitted she tried to do the right thing for her family, she acknowledged that it was necessary before she made a decision with Thomas that they couldn’t take back.

Now Hope had clarity that her marriage was over, but she confessed that she wasn’t in love with Thomas and didn’t want to take advantage of his feelings for her.

Thomas understood that they’d moved pretty fast, but he really thought he could make Hope happy.

Hope wouldn’t pretend that Thomas hadn’t awoken something inside of her, so Thomas admitted to feeling the same way. Thomas said he wanted to give Hope what she needed and suggested maybe they could go to dinner.

Hope looked all seductive as she insisted that wasn’t exactly what she was craving right now. After Hope locked the door, she acknowledged that she was hurting and that she’d need some time now that Liam had let her down.

“But that doesn’t mean that I don’t want you…Is that something you can handle?” Hope asked on Tuesday’s B&B episode.

Thomas felt that he could indeed handle it and suggested just living in the moment, so he began kissing Hope passionately again.

At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) apartment, he returned and found Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was still there, so he acknowledged how risky it was. Sheila was grateful to Deacon for opening his home and felt no one else understood her like him.

If Hope or Brooke caught Deacon with Sheila or learned about their past, he knew it’d be a disaster.

Deacon insisted he loved Hope so much and couldn’t lose her, so Sheila promised she wouldn’t let the news of their romance get out.

Sheila tried to initiate lovemaking to show Deacon how thankful she was, but Ridge and Carter interrupted when they showed up at the door. Deacon and Sheila panicked as Ridge yelled from outside that they were looking for Sheila.

At the Forrester mansion, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) was flattered, but he told Eric Forrester (John McCook) that he wasn’t a designer. Eric showed RJ a card that he made when he was a little boy and felt that he showed talent even at that young age.

After Eric assured RJ that he was the person he wanted to partner with, RJ finally got on board. Eric explained the design he wanted before RJ sketched it, so Eric was pleased with their teamwork.

There was just one more favor Eric wanted from RJ, so he pushed him not to say anything to Ridge about his arthritis or their decision to join forces.
