The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Thursday, November 30 – Funeral Party Stuns RJ, Donna & Katie – Eric’s Urgent Request
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 30, reveals that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) overheard Eric Forrester (John McCook) refusing to visit the hospital, so she wondered what happened.
Eric sarcastically replied that in case Katie had forgotten, he was dying. Katie insisted she was just worried, but Eric refused to spend what little time he had left in a hospital bed.
Although Katie and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) acted like there might be a way to extend Eric’s life, he wanted to keep going to work and doing what he loved.
With that in mind, Eric got Donna to model a new gown from his final collection and summoned RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) to see it in action. Eric, Katie and RJ watched Donna strut her stuff before Eric had another coughing fit.
That left everyone else in the room concerned on Thursday’s B&B episode, but Eric didn’t want all the long faces and sadness. After Eric said he wanted laughter and joy, he suddenly had the best idea about his funeral.
When the others seemed worried, Eric corrected himself and suggested he really meant a celebration – something that he could attend before he was gone.
Although Eric said his loved ones could say goodbye at his real funeral when the time came, he wanted to focus on a final celebratory act that he could actually be part of.
Donna, RJ and Katie looked a little bewildered over Eric’s party plan, but they seemingly got on board.
In the design office, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) remained frustrated over not being able to tell Eric the truth and fully support him, but Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) stressed the importance of respecting Eric’s wishes.
Steffy worried about Eric’s upcoming fashion show and begged Ridge to tell her that Eric would live long enough to see his final collection on the runway. Ridge said he’d love to promise that, but he just wasn’t able to.
Brooke assumed that at some point, it would be tough to pretend they didn’t know what Eric was up against. Ridge hinted that as Eric’s condition deteriorated, the truth would eventually come out.
That said, Ridge knew Eric was going to keep standing tall as long as he could. Steffy praised Ridge for showing strength and keeping everyone together, but Ridge insisted it was going to take all of them before embracing Steffy and Brooke.
