Devon Hamilton Winters will vent to Abby Newman Abbott at Society, and she will tell him to follow his gut and not allow Tucker McCall or Manny Johnson to bully him. Devon and Lily will talk about Nate’s possible scheme to force Jill Abbott from Chancellor Winters after they next meet. Devon will also show worry about Tucker, but he will also acknowledge that his biological father is most likely currently preoccupied with Ashley Abbott and her family. Lily believes that they ought to try to make amends with Nate Hastings because Manny is battling so hard for him. Devon texts Nate to see if they can grab a drink, and he’ll agree to try for Lily and Malcolm’s sake. Devon will tell Abby how his conversation with Lily went and acknowledges that he made contact with Nate.

When he returns to Society, Chloe will assist Sally with ideas for Daniel’s new penthouse on Tuesday’s episode of Y and R. Heather and Lucy will show up to surprise Daniel with their return to Genoa City. While they’re all there, the news that Lucy has a new room there and is welcome to visit as much as she pleases will make her happy. Lucy will give Daniel a hug as soon as she’s sure she wants to stay, right before Lily arrives and throws everything off. Sally will tell Chloe at the coffee shop how wonderful it was to bounce ideas off each other once more. Chloe would eventually admit that things aren’t going well at Machetti, which will make her worry that she’s made a grave error.

In the meantime, Victor Newman will carry on with the most recent Newman meeting in his office, pretending that he made up the tale of pretending to be mentally sick out of fear for what was befalling him. Victor will assert that he has been living in denial and that action with his condition is necessary. Nate will propose that since Victor is now being honest with the others, they should all talk about the strategy for getting him identified and treated. Nate is going to talk about the press release he has already prepared for the cover story. Nate will believe that Victor has to take a leave of absence and receive treatment at a private clinic, but Adam Newman will argue that’s too dangerous and will be certain that word will get out. Adam believes that they should give Victor the treatment instead. Victor possesses the means to transform the ranch or a portion of Newman Tower into a Cutting Edge establishment of his own. Nate will keep claiming that if Victor is receiving treatment from doctors overseas, they will be in a better position to assist him. Victor agrees with Adam that it would be better to bring the Physicians to Victor rather than risking a leak. After giving the matter some thought, Victoria makes sense as the obvious acting CEO of Newman Enterprises. Nate will say in response to Victor’s question about what would happen to the company if he disappeared. Victoria would affirm that this was not her idea when Victor inquires about it. Victor would assume he can at least enjoy that much as Nate reassures him that they kept their discussions regarding his treatment private.

Since Nate won’t get what Victor is trying to say, Victor will ask Nikki Newman if she believes it’s time to call off the charade. Victor will announce that Nate is fired and laugh to himself, because Nikki will feel that it’s past time. According to teasers for The Young and the Restless, Victor may soon tell Nate, Victoria, Adam, and Nick the whole truth, so keep an eye out.
