Days of Our Lives Recap: Friday, November 3 – Stefan Spies Crime Scene – Eric Marries Sloan – Chad Catches Everett & Stephanie

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, November 3, reveals that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) came home and pushed Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) to marry him today, so she wondered why he suddenly wanted to move ahead with tying the knot.

Eric acted like there was no reason to wait and chose not to mention the fact that Nicole Walker-DiMera’s (Arianne Zucker) marriage to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was also happening today.

Sloan got on board, so Eric donned a suit and asked Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) if she would officiate.

Marlena seemed concerned over Eric making an impulsive decision, but she agreed to perform the ceremony.

Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) was summoned along with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), who agreed to be Eric’s best man.

Sloan eventually joined Eric, so Marlena led them through their vows soon after.

Eric spaced out for a moment, but he quickly got his head back in the game and said his part. After Sloan and Eric exchanged rings, Marlena pronounced the pair husband and wife.

Eric kissed Sloan before they consummated their marriage on the sofa back at their apartment.

Sloan and Eric agreed they felt more connected now that they were married, but Sloan worried about that strange moment at the ceremony and asked if Eric was sure this is what he wanted.

Eric insisted it was and teased Sloan by calling her Mrs. Sloan Petersen-Brady.

At the DiMera mansion on Friday’s Days episode, Nicole got updates on Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) issues with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and how Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was the source of them.

After performing that wedding today, Chad struggled to imagine saying vows to anyone besides Abigail.

Nicole knew her situation with Eric wasn’t the same since he was still alive, but she at least understood that sometimes you can never truly let a person go.

That said, Nicole had found happiness with EJ while Eric was happy with Sloan.

Abigail would want Chad to be happy too, so Chad let that sink in and decided he needed to go make things right with Stephanie. Chad just hoped it wasn’t too late!

In the town square on Friday’s DOOL show, Stephanie ran into Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) and learned he just took a job as The Spectator’s new editor-in-chief.

That news confused Stephanie since it seemed like a big step down in Everett’s career.

Everett was previously a hotshot reporter who was always chasing huge stories and trying to move to a bigger market.

However, Everett explained that he had trouble restarting his career after his recovery since his job in Seattle had already been filled.

Everett had a decent salary at The Spectator, but he hoped his decision to live in Salem wouldn’t be a problem.

Stephanie assured Everett that he could live anywhere he wanted before talk turned to her problems with Chad.

Everett pushed Stephanie to open up since he’d always been a good listener, so she told him about Chad’s late wife and their marriage dilemma.

After Everett bought Stephanie a pumpkin spice latte, Chad found them hugging in the park and caught them off guard.

Back at the DiMera mansion on Friday’s Days episode, Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Stefan DiMera (Carson Boatman) gloated to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) about having enough shares to oust him now that Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) had signed his over.

EJ learned there’d be a shareholder meeting this afternoon and was advised to get his stuff from the office unless he wanted it thrown in the trash.

A furious EJ warned that Stefan and Gabi wouldn’t get away with this. After EJ told Gabi and Stefan to enjoy their little victory, he made it clear that it wouldn’t last and vowed payback.
Afterward, EJ looked on his phone and saw that the ousting was official, so he complained to his new wife.

Nicole suggested they could figure out a plan to handle all this tomorrow and convinced EJ to have some naughty wedding night fun with her down in the secret room.

At home on Friday’s Days episode, Li seethed over Gabi’s betrayal and held a giant knife as he talked to Marlena over the phone.

Marlena wanted to check on Li after their intense therapy session, but he insisted he was fine and that he no longer had feelings for Gabi. In fact, Li said Gabi was as good as dead to him!

After Li clarified that he was just using a figure of speech, he reassured Marlena before Wendy caught him holding the knife.

Li claimed he was just planning some dinner prep and ultimately admitted that Gabi tricked him into signing over his shares.

Once Li assumed his father would be livid, he did an impression of Mr. Wei Shin (Clyde Kusatsu) and laughed. Li seemed like he was losing it a bit as Wendy tried to comfort him.

Wendy also found out about their father driving away the first girl that Li ever loved, which came up in therapy today.

Although Li had hoped to let go of Gabi, now he wanted her miserable.

Wendy grew concerned about what Li might do, but he insisted he wouldn’t be the one to inflict that misery.

After Wendy offered support and hugged Li, he pushed her to keep her date night plans with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and suggested at least one of them should be happy.

Later, Li’s body was motionless on the floor with a stab wound to the back. Stefan opened the door to find Gabi hovering over Li with the knife in her hands, so she seemed flustered as he took in the horrific scene.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will land in a whole lot of trouble soon, so don’t miss all the action.
