Sheila Makes a Chilling Promise to Deacon — and R.J. Finds a Way to Help Eric Design Again

At Deacon’s, Ridge and Carter pound on his door and Ridge yells, “Open up! Where is Sheila?” Deacon yells he’s getting dressed and to give him a second. HEebuttons his shirt, and Sheila grabs her things and heads into the other room.

Deacon opens the door, and they storm in looking for Sheila. Deacon asks why they are asking him. Ridge says he helped them find her before, and he could help them again. Ridge believes Deacon may know where to find her. Deacon claims he hasn’t seen her, and it’s not like he has the room to stash her here. Ridge asks again, does he know where Sheila is.

Deacon again says he doesn’t. Carter suspects there could be cameras around here that may have recorded Sheila, and Deacon says that’s a good idea because he’s not here 24/7, but he doubts they’ll get a court order when Sheila is a free woman. Ridge says it sounds like he’s defending her. Deacon swears he doesn’t want to see Sheila ever again as she’s hurt all of them, but if he sees her then he’ll tell him. Ridge has a hard time believing him, and he says Sheila is a threat to his family, and so is anyone who helps Sheila, and his family includes Brooke and Hope.

Ridge and Carter exit, and Sheila comes out from the other room. She heard the act Deacon put on and thanks him. However, she knows some of what he said is true, and she’s made things difficult for him. She says he means so much to her, as no one else but he or Finn cares if she lives or dies. She speaks to his connection with Hope and says she has that with Finn. She promises she won’t upend Deacon’s life, and she will be in Finn’s life forever and knows he’ll embrace her as his mother.

Finn arrives at Steffy’s office at Forrester Creations with a brown paper bag. She asks what it is, and he asks her to guess. She’s not in the mood, but he wants to play a game where he’ll give her clues on what it’s not, and a hint on what it is. She eventually guesses it’s the special ramen from the secret ramen truck. He tells her that he’s missed her, and Steffy thanks him for the surprise.

Steffy takes a break to eat with Finn. Finn knows why she felt she had to take the kids to her grandfather’s, and he knows he’s put a lot of blame for their separation on Liam. He still believes Liam wants her back, but he also takes responsibility for why they are apart and knows it’s because of Sheila. Steffy cries she still has nightmares about Sheila, and still worries about the kids. Finn agrees, which is why he’ll do anything to protect them from Sheila.

Steffy thanks him for coming to see her, and for opening up to her, and she can see how much he loves her and the children. However, it’s still hard for her given how much Sheila has terrorized them. Finn understands and promises to have nothing to do with Sheila, and being apart from her is killing him. She feels the same, and they kiss. Finn promises no one will keep them apart, he is hers… forever.

At the Forrester mansion, Eric and R.J. continue to sketch, and Eric becomes frustrated and tries to show R.J. what he wants from him, but his hand won’t cooperate when he takes the pencil He says this is game over for his career unless R.J. can help him. R.J. asks if he’s told Donna about his arthritis, and Eric says he has. He says it helps to talk to her, and she tries to tell him that things could be worse.

Eric squeezes a therapy ball, and R.J. asks how long he’s been struggling with this. Eric says it hasn’t been that long, but it’s recently becoming worse and worse, and the pain has interfered even with his thinking. R.J. realizes this is why he stepped back from Hope for the Future. Eric admits it, is and he tried to get back to drawing after taking a break, but it’s now worse than ever. He saw a doctor and there isn’t much that can be done. He explains that’s when he went to Ridge for help on a new line, but didn’t tell him about his condition. However, Ridge said he was too busy, so he turned to R.J.
