Nina Panics Over What She Discovers at the Metro Court Pool — and Is Arrested

At Kelly’s, Carly arrives to relieve Joss so she can go to her concert with Dex, but Joss says she’s not going. Joss complains that suddenly Dex has to work for Sonny. Carly notes she has been there. Joss rants about how she hates that Dex is putting himself in danger to protect Sonny for her and Michael. Carly says that’s his choice, and if she thinks she can change Dex, it won’t happen.

 

Joss tells her mom not to put her history with Sonny on her and Dex. She’s not going to break up with him and decides to go to the concert as she has friends going anyway.

After Joss leaves, a dock worker named Steve comes in to get some food. He also warns Carly while it’s not his place to say, her ex is in for a world of trouble. He relays that he saw feds on the docks, and they mentioned the name Cortinthos.

Outside, Brook Lynn thinks Chase isn’t serious about her moving in, but he is. She tells him no, which surprises him, but she thinks he hasn’t thought about this. She reminds him the first time she moved in she drove him crazy, and the second was for Bailey. Chase says, “And the third time will be for love.” She worries as they are in a good place right now. Chase claims his place has felt empty since she left, and asks again to move back in.

Brook Lynn admits she’s scared because now she has something to lose, him. She cries that she makes mistakes and does stupid stuff, like getting involved with Tracy. He says he’s not expecting her to be perfect, he loves her, her flaws and all. He feels her moving in makes sense, and asks her to think about how she really feels about the idea. Suddenly, she begins coughing.

Chase goes inside Kelly’s as Steve is leaving. He asks Carly, who was about to call Sonny, for a glass of water.

Chase returns to Brook Lynn and again presses her for an answer. She accepts, and they leave hand and hand.

Sonny arrives at The Metro Court, as Nina is busy handling business calls for Olivia. Sonny approaches her, and she calls his arrival a nice surprise. She needs to talk to him about something, but Kristina interrupts and asks if Nina is joining them. Nina says she’s not as she’s covering for Olivia tonight. He wonders what Nina has to tell him, but she assures him she can take care of it.

Kristina and Sonny sit down, and Sonny thanks her for being supportive of Nina. Kristina says she genuinely likes her, and Nina makes him happy.

Willow stops by with Wiley, and the boy runs into his Grandma Nina’s arms the second he sees her.

Wiley sees Sonny and asks to see Grandpa, so they head over to the table to see him. Wiley wants to go to Grandpa’s house soon to play ball and have a barbecue. Sonny explains he lives someplace different now, someplace high in the sky that looks over the park. Wiley begins to play a family gathering and starts listing everyone he wants to come just as Michael arrives.

Willow heads to Michael, and she explains Nina was here when she arrived, and Wiley saw Nina and Sonny and wanted to see them. Michael says if it’s okay with her, it’s okay with him.

Nina has Trish get Michael, Willow and Wiley a table. Wiley tells his dad he wants to have Grandma Nina and Grandpa Sonny over to their house to play baseball and have a big party. Michael says if that’s what he wants he will get it.

Back at Sonny and Kristina’s table, Kristina shares that she has a full board for the foundation and the house is a go. She thanks her dad as she couldn’t have done this without him.

Olivia brings “Eddie” to The Metro Court pool in hopes of jogging his memory. He doesn’t want to deal with this again, but she cries Brook Lynn is in trouble because of Tracy, and she’s fled the house. She explains that Ned has always been the bridge between the members of this family, so for their sake and Leo’s, she begs him to try.

Oliva tells him about the night of his accident and asks him to walk through it with her and see if anything comes back to him. He does as she asks of him, and she explains he was rushing to Drew as he had something important to tell him.

Suddenly. Nina arrives and says she didn’t mean to interrupt but came to give Olivia a message. Olivia explains they’re trying to stimulate “Eddie’s” memory, which makes Nina nervous. She thinks that might not be wise, it could traumatize him. Olivia believes it might help. Nina leaves them but continues to worry. She thinks back to Ned confronting her about the SEC right before she watched him slip and fall at the pool.

Alone, “Eddie” tells Olivia that he can’t seem to remember anything, he’s sorry for disappointing her and for being so hard on her. She says he’s forgiven. He holds out his hand and asks, “Friends?” She shakes his hand and replies, “Friends.”

Nina returns to the Metro Court and checks on Willow and the others. Willow tells Nina about Wiley’s party plans and asks if she’d like to join them. Nina looks at Michael who nods, and she accepts. Nina asks to take Wiley off to get a sugar-free special soda at the bar, and they allow it. Michael asks Willow if she’s okay with this. Willow believes they need to work towards putting this family back together.

Kristine meanwhile tells Sonny that Wiley may be exactly what could result in Willow and Michael thawing towards him and Nina. Sonny wants to hear about her board but sees Carly calling him. Kristina tells him that he can get that, but he calls their talk more important.

Meanwhile, Olivia brings “Eddie” down to the bar and offers him a drink for obliging her request, as Nina continues to worry.

In Pentonville, Cyrus preaches to his flock that something good is coming soon, and tells them to rejoice as they applaud. As he preaches about vengeance and forgiveness, the warden appears.

Cyrus disbands the group to study amongst themselves and speaks with Warden Garten. She is impressed and notes he seems a changed man, but she is still expecting something from him. He assures her all is on schedule, and with his flock, there is nothing they can’t achieve.

Cyrus goes on to speak to his flock and says their enemy is soon to be behind them. He preaches that the lowest among them are worthy of redemption, and those who protect the innocent are the first among them. Cyrus tells them the almighty will focus vengeance on those who collaborate with the enemy, and the wicked will be cut off and pay the price.

Dex, Gabe and Frank are positioned on the docks with a large crate labeled Pikeman and wait for the pickup. As the ship arrives, Carly calls Dex. She knows he’s on a job and warns him to get the hell out of there as there is going to be a raid. Suddenly the Coast Guard and FBI move in, and Gabe and Frank are caught, but Dex is able to hide and get away.

Back at the Metro Court, the FBI storms in and places Sonny under arrest. Kristina is furious, and Michael pulls her back to keep her safe and uninvolved. Wiley cries about his Grandpa, and Nina is equally troubled. Sonny promises them this will all be cleared up. The FBI cuffs him and takes him off, as Cyrus’ voice is heard preaching about the punishment of the wicked.

At the coffee bistro, Charlotte can tell her father has something to say that she won’t like. He fills her in on Maxie moving into Lulu’s house and is worried about how she feels about that. Charlotte says it’s just a home, and none of her homes last.

Valentin laments that he’s never given Charlotte a stable home, but promises as they speak things are changing. Charlotte cries things are always changing, and that’s the only constant. He promises her things will change, and he will give her a stable life. They hug, and she says, “Just the two of us.”

Maxie and Felicia bring Georgie and James to Lulu’s house. The kids wonder why they are here, and Maxie says they are moving in. She announces this is their new home. James runs around and looks out at how big the backyard is.

Felicia takes James on an exploration mission of the house, and Maxie asks Georgie what she thinks. Georgie’s always loved this house, but it’s Aunt Lulu’s house. Maxie says Lulu is her best friend, and she thinks she’d want them to fill this house with happy memories. Georgie worries her mom will miss Aunt Lulu even more by being here. Maxie says she’ll miss Lulu no matter where they live, but this is like a little present from her and makes her feel closer to Lulu.

James and Felicia return, and James says he’s already picked out his room. Georgie says that’s not fair as she’s older. She chases him off through the halls.

Maxie confides in her mom that it does feel a bit weird being here, but with Deception’s troubles and her stocks frozen, she is grateful to be able to rent this place at all. Felicia looks forward to the day Maxie wipes the smirk off Tracy’s face. Maxie isn’t so sure as Tracy is ruthless, and she used her own granddaughter for her own means.

As they walk around, Felicia believes the house wants Maxie here, it’s a new beginning for her. Maxie says like her mom and the hospital, and they hug. The kids return and have picked out their rooms and are excited to move in.

On the next General Hospital: the show is a rerun due to Labor Day. Next week, Carly asks Michael to tell her the truth. Austin asks Nikolas, “And when it is, what are you going to do?” Dex informs Joss that someone turned Sonny in. Dante tells Sam this might be the end of his father. In the prison showers, Cyrus tells Drew that he’s no longer under Sonny’s protection. Sonny refuses to speak without his lawyer.
