At the Quartermaine Gatehouse, Michael, Willow and Wiley arrive home from the island early as Michael has business. As Willow tends to the kids, Michael is fixated on his phone. Later, Willow expresses she’s sorry they had to leave early as the island was so beautiful. Michael promises they’ll go back again soon. Willow thinks it would be nice to make it another family trip with Sonny and Nina. He promises to take them back, and if Sonny and Nina want to join them, that’s fine.

Michael says he needs to get to this meeting, and she says he never said who he’s meeting with. He says he needs to confirm some new information before taking the next step, and this could be a game changer.

After Michael leaves, Willow gets Wiley some milk and a snack. He doesn’t understand why Grandpa Sonny and Grandma Nina didn’t come back with them. She explains after you get married you take a little vacation. She later gives him chocolate pudding, and Wiley gushes about how much fun the wedding was, and he loves his Grandpa and Grandma. After Wiley goes to bed, Willow thinks about spending time with Nina at the wedding.

Sam drops by Kelly’s to find out how Drew is from Carly, especially since he doesn’t want Scout to visit. Carly says he doesn’t want her to see him as he is, but he’s doing well. Sam says she also stopped by to check on Carly, as she knows Sonny and Nina eloped. She asks how she is, and Carly admits she’s not okay.

They head into the kitchen and while Carly says she’s happy for Sonny, and she’s moving on with Drew, his marrying Nina still stings. Carly thanks her for checking in on her, and she knows Sam has had a lot on her plate what with what Gladys did to Sasha. Sam calls Gladys disgusting and is glad Sonny ran her out of town for good. Carly says there is no reason for Gladys to ever return.

Sam decides to get out of Carly’s hair, but she just wanted to check in on her friend. Carly is she’s glad she did, and even though Sonny marrying Nina hurts, she loves and is devoted to Drew. Sam knows that, and they embrace.

At the Metro Court, Maxie and Lucy meet with Blaze about their line of cosmetics. Blaze is flattered, if not surprised, to be asked to be asked to be the new face of Deception. Blaze admits Sasha generated a lot of negative publicity, so she’s not sure about attaching herself to their company. Lucy and Maxie explain that spokesmodels get changed all the time, and they believe she can take them in a new direction and already has an established client base with her music career. Blaze says they’ve given her a lot to think about and will have her manager contact them by the end of the week with a decision. She then departs to catch a plane.

Maxie tells Lucy that went well, but they probably should have given Sasha a warning before offering her job to someone else. Lucy says Sasha will still be a partner, but they really need a fresh face right now. Maxie still doesn’t like it. Martin arrives, and Maxie excuses herself when she gets an SOS text from her mom, who is watching the kids.

Lucy tells Martin she and Maxie are trying to take the company in a new direction, now that the lawsuit is settled, and she’s given up 51 percent of her company to Tracy. She just hopes one day Tracy will get what she deserves. Martin suggests they head to his suite for some relaxation. Before they can, his phone rings, it’s Michael. Michael asks to see him in his office at Aurora right away. Michael says he discovered he made a mistake Martin made and is giving him one chance to make things right.

Martin leaves and Maxie returns.  Maxie wants to get back to business. She says whether they like it or not Tracy owns the majority of Deception, and they need to run hiring Blaze by her. Lucy says Tracy isn’t her boss and she doesn’t need her permission to make a sound business decision. Maxie still believes they should at least tell Sasha about this move.

Martin arrives in Michael’s office and Michael informs him that he made a terrible mistake turning his mother and Drew into the SEC. Martin says this isn’t a courtroom, he’s not a judge, and he doesn’t have to answer his questions. He says regardless of who turned them in, Carly did commit a crime and Drew paid the price. Michael says this case was frivolous and should have been dropped, but someone pushed the SEC to pursue this case to cause pain to his family.

Michael states he’s giving Martin a chance to save himself and make amends. Martin even if he made the call, that he can’t break attorney-client privilege. Michaels understands and then taunts he could hand this matter over to Sonny, as he doesn’t know it was his client who set the wheels in motion that harmed his family. Michael teases that for now, Sonny doesn’t know Martin’s involved and provided he tells him who was responsible, it can stay that way. Michael says he already knows she’s the one, and Martin confirms it was Nina. Michael dismisses Martin and then listens to the recording he made of Martin’s confession on his phone.

At her place, Sasha is packing up her apartment when Cody drops by. He’s shocked to see all the boxes and asks if she’s leaving Port Charles. Sasha confirms she is, and Cody doesn’t understand why. She explains everywhere she turns in this town reminds her of mistakes she’s made. It’s too painful for her to stay here, and she needs to start over someplace new. She’s headed to Austin for a new start. He asks if she has friends there.

When Sasha confirms she doesn’t know anyone there, Cody points out she won’t find friends like Nina, Maxie, Michael and Willow… and him there. She knows she’ll never meet anyone like him again, but she keeps trusting the wrong people like Valentin, Cyrus, and Gladys and she doesn’t know why. Cody says she’s being too hard on herself, that humans make mistakes, and he’s the king of making selfish and stupid mistakes. Sasha asks what mistakes he made. Cody lists off not taking down Gladys sooner, and working for Selina Wu. She thinks he hasn’t made mistakes that are all that bad. Cody says here is a doozy, his biological dad is here in Port Charles and he convinced him that he’s not his son.

Sasha is confused and asks why he’d lie about his dad. He explains because he’s an idiot. He says when he got the DNA tests he lied to Mac and told him that he’s not his father. Sasha is stunned and asks how Maxie’s stepdad Mac is his father. Cody explains it’s a long story, and Mac never knew about his mother’s pregnancy. He admits he thought if he stayed Leopold’s son he could get a lot of money, which isn’t important anymore. He confesses there is another reason he lied, a guy like him doesn’t deserve a great dad like Mac.

Sasha says any man would be proud to call him son and to look at what he has done for her. She notes he sacrificed his freedom to help her, and he was so incredibly brave. He says she was the brave one having to go back into that hellhole after their escape. She did what she did to survive, which is why she’s now starting over someplace new. He asks when she’s leaving, and she says the movers will be here tomorrow. Cody asks if she’s sure about this.

Suddenly there is a knock at the door and it’s Maxie. Maxie is equally shocked to find out Sasha is moving to Texas. Cody leaves them, and Sasha explains she’s leaving town because everywhere she turns, she has painful memories. Maxie knows how Sasha feels, and that she wanted to run away after Nathan died. However, she realized her friends and family who love her are here. Sasha tells her not to try and talk her out of this as she’s made up her mind. Maxie won’t talk her out of doing what she thinks is best for herself. Sasha just knows she must get away, so Maxie promises to support her. She says Deception won’t be the same without her. Sasha asks why she happened to stop by. Maxie claims she just missed her friend.

On the island, Kristina, Sonny and Nina have dinner. They are sad that Michael, Willow and Wiley had to leave abruptly because Michael had business. Kristina is still surprised they gave up the big wedding. Nina says she only took a second to say yes to eloping, as it seemed so intimate. She also says having the family here made it all the better. Kristina is proud of her dad for never giving up on Michael. Sonny says Michael had a lot of anger, and he let go of it and left the decision to attend up to Willow. Nina says that Willow agreed to come, which she owes to Sonny.

Later, Kristina takes a stroll and is shocked when Blaze shows up on the island. Kristina wasn’t expecting to run into her again so soon, and here of all places. Blaze explains her grandma lives here and used to work at the hotel. She says their running into one another must be fate. Kristina thinks it could be.

Nina and Sonny spend time together alone. Sonny asks about the bracelet she’s wearing, which Willow gave her. She tells him it was a gift from her daughter. They profess their love to one another and state how happy they are to be married.

On the next General Hospital:  Eddie gets a talking to, Lois meets Chase, Joss worries about Ava, and Cyrus issues a warning.
