Luna Stands up to Li — and Brooke Warns Hope She’s Playing With Fire After an In-Office Romp With Thomas

At Forrester, Hope locks the office door as she and Thomas make out. She doesn’t want to think about anything right now and asks Thomas to help her forget. He tells her whatever she needs, “I love you, Hope.”

At Deacon’s place, Brooke tells him that Hope came to her begging her to get through to him. “Tell Sheila to get lost today!”

In the design office, Li sneers to Luna, “So, you ran straight to RJ. Just like your mother; never taking responsibility.” Luna and RJ both insist that’s not what happened. RJ tells her he saw that Luna was upset and that’s why he called Finn and Li there. Li says, “Finn knows?” RJ informs her that Luna is not leaving Forrester. Li orders Luna to say goodbye to Forrester Creations and to RJ and never come back.

RJ details how great Luna is as an exceptionally valuable intern, “We can’t lose her.” Luna asks to speak to her aunt alone and settle this once and for all. RJ exits. Li tells Luna to start packing. “Make the smart choice and leave before things get even worse, Luna.”

In the main office, Hope and Thomas make out passionately. He tells her she has his total and undivided commitment before turning her around, pushing her up against the desk, and unzipping her dress. Hope grabs his neck and turns around to face him as he bends her over the desk. Soon, she’s undressing as Thomas watches her from the sofa. She climbs on top of him in her lingerie and they kiss as he slips her bra strap off her shoulder. Thomas makes love to Hope on the sofa as she pulls him to her by his chain.

At Deacon’s place, Sheila says she knows this is hard to understand, “But we care for one another.” Brooke asks Deacon, “You really have feelings for Sheila?” Deacon asks Brooke to look him in the eye, “You can see it, don’t you? I can’t explain it, it’s true. I care about her.” Brooke gawps, “What are you doing>?! How could you possible have feelings for Sheila.” Deacon protests that he’s tried to break up with her, but every time he does he goes right back. They get each other and make each other happy. “I’m begging you please, just keep an open mind to the possibility that this could be a good thing.” Brooke and Ridge both scoff. Deacon vows that Sheila will never be a threat to the family.

Ridge intones, “You’re going to keep us safe from Sheila? In what world is that a possibility?” Deacon, frustrated that he’s not getting through to them says he believes people change because of fear and love. Sheila has changed because she found love with him. Brooke and Ridge argue that she’s not capable of it. Deacon vows she’ll never be a threat to Steffy or anyone they love. He guarantees it.

In the design office, Luna tells Li that she hasn’t seen her in years; no one even knew she was related to her or Finn, “Why can’t you just let me…” Li interrupts, “Let you what? Blow up my life like your mother has countless times before?!” She goes on about her mother getting pregnant and embarrassing the entire family and being a disappointment. She want to know how she’s supposed to believe this was just a coincidence. Luna says she’s always loved fashion, which Li would know if she’d ever bothered to get to know her. Has she ever even thought about her or what her dreams might be? She’s never been happier than she is at Forrester and isn’t going to let Li take that away from her.

Li informs her niece that the world doesn’t owe her anything. You have to grind and sacrifice until you make it, “Something you’ve never learned from your mother.” Luna tells her aunt she won’t allow her to make her feel small as she does her mother. She’s the older sister and should reach out and help her, “So, you’re a doctor. Sure, I’m impressed, but that doesn’t give you the right to treat me this way.” When Finn was shot, they wanted to be there for her but she wouldn’t let them. “Who does that?! We’re family.” She won’t let Li exclude her from this opportunity. “I’m not going to let you or anyone else take it away.”

At Deacon’s place, Brooke and Ridge are gone and Sheila marvels that she’s never felt that kind of love and support that he showed before. He tells her she better get used to it because he loves her. Sheila says, “I love you.” They embrace.

In the main office, Hope and Thomas dress and he tells her this is a dream come true. Brooke starts trying to get in and calls out for Hope, “Are you in there? Why is the door locked.” Hope lets her in and Thomas grins, buttoning his shirt, “Hi.” Brooke smirks, “You’ve got to be kidding me?”

In the design office, Luna tells Li she doesn’t mean to be disrespectful, which is more than he can say about the way she’s treated her and her mother, but she’s not leaving Forrester Creations. “RJ doesn’t want me to go, but more importantly, I don’t want to go. This is my dream and I worked hard to get here.” She won’t let her intimidate her as she does her mom. Li warns that she’s making a mistake and suggests she remember that she tried to make this go away. With that, she walks out. Luna exhales. RJ returns and he’s ecstatic that she stood up to her aunt. Luna thanks him for defending her and giving her the confidence to do it. “I love being here, and I love being with you, RJ.” They kiss.

In the main office, Hope tells Brooke, “We don’t need the lecture.” Brooke grimaces and then tells her she just came from seeing Deacon as she begged her to. She asks Thomas to leave them alone and after complaining to her daughter about how her day’s going, updates her that Deacon is claiming to be in love with Sheila. He’s insisting that she’s not a threat to him. “Needless to say, I couldn’t get through to him,” but she’s hoping she can get through to her about Thomas. Hope can make her own decisions. Brooke asks, “What’s gotten into you?” Hope doesn’t know. What she does know is that she and Thomas are two consenting adults and they don’t need her permission to have a relationship. Brooke gawps, “Relationship? I know you don’t love him.” Hope says she’s made that clear to him. Brooke asks if Thomas has been honest with her and with himself. Hope says he loves her… and it feels great. Brooke loses her mind. “You’re playing with fire! He was obsessed with you, Hope! I know you haven’t forgotten that! He’s like a ticking time bomb ready to go off.” If he can’t control his emotions and feelings, “What is he going to do then? What?!”

In the hall, Thomas flashes to making love to Hope, and her saying she’s not in love with him and doesn’t want to take advantage of his feelings for her.

In the office, Brooke tells Hope she’s scared for her, “Thomas is dangerous, Hope! He’s dangerous!”
