General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) recently got some amazing news since Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) decided to stay in Port Charles after all. Instead of embracing a fresh start in Texas, Sasha is ready for a new beginning right there in PC.

Of course, Sasha has tackled more challenges than anyone should ever have to go through. The last few years have been rough for Sasha, but she’s hoping that things are looking up.

Sasha was devastated when she lost Liam Corbin – and then tragedy struck again when Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) perished after getting hooked.

GH writers robbed Sasha of her chance at a happy future with Brando, who was a good husband until his life was cut tragically short.

Brando would want Sasha to move on – and thanks to Cody’s incredible rescue efforts, now Sasha has the opportunity to do just that.

However, Cody clearly has some issues that could affect his budding romance with Sasha. Although Cody seems to have fallen hard, he’ll need to step up and be the man Sasha needs.

Will Cody be able to overcome his insecurities and any other problems that arise? Is Cody husband material for Sasha, who deserves a second chance wedding and a bright future?

There are always going to be shockers and bumps in the road on soaps, but Sasha has earned a quieter, happier chapter of her story.

After all the chaos with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder), Sasha deserves some bliss – at least for a while.

It’d be nice to see Sasha continue falling for Cody, who could perhaps become her husband and start a family with her one day. It’s still early in the game, but Cody and Sasha’s bond is taking them in the right direction so far!
