General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that many fans have held onto hope that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) may not be Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) biological father after all. Trina had a DNA test done, but the show left the door open for some tampering.

Selina Wu (Lydia Look) basically told Curtis she could make that DNA test say whatever he wanted it to say.

Curtis turned down Selina’s offer and pushed to find out the actual outcome, but what if Selina decided to tamper with the results anyway?

Perhaps Selina determined that Curtis truly wanted to be Trina’s father and ordered a minion in the lab to make sure the DNA test “proved” that was true.

In reality, Trina’s bio dad may still be Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).

Of course, Selina might plan to use this information to her advantage somewhere down the line, but Cyrus could potentially use it as leverage too if he’s aware of it.

Cyrus tends to know everything that goes on at GH, so he may be in the loop on any potential tampering that went down. That’s especially true since Cyrus and Selina may secretly be in league with each other.

Back in August, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) bowed to someone off-screen as they met up for a strategy session, so Selina may have been the one he was meeting with.

Regardless, Cyrus has a knack for uncovering beneficial info and could find himself in possession of evidence that points to a major paternity twist.

Curtis has already lost so much since he can’t walk or do most of the physical activities that he used to love.

When it comes to Curtis’ relationship with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), they’re not sizzling in the bedroom anymore either.

However, Curtis is enjoying his new father-daughter connection with Trina – so much so that she may hate the idea of taking it away.

If Trina faces another paternity twist, it could leave her desperate to keep the truth under wraps for Curtis’ sake.

Trina might decide it’d break Curtis’ heart beyond repair if he knew they weren’t father and daughter after all. If Cyrus eventually reveals this paternity shocker, he might hold some power over Trina.

Maybe Cyrus could encourage Trina to put in a good word for him with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and encourage some family bonding.

Cyrus wants to get closer to Spencer and Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), so he might manipulate Trina into helping him.
