The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 31, reveals that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) introduced the last of the design numbers – including one that really knocked Esther Valentine’s (Kate Linder) socks off. After the fashion show was over, Katie invited all the guests to get their orders in before it was too late.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) sought Eric Forrester (John McCook) out backstage and extended his hand to his father.

Once Ridge said may the best man win, Eric agreed and shook on it. When Eric was alone again, he coughed and looked deep in thought.

Next, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) said he’d be tabulating the orders soon, so Ridge pushed Carter to just tell him that he’d won.

Carter said it was going to be tight as he talked about tallying up the official results.

Eric and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) came out from the backstage area at one point, so they made it clear that they were also eager to get the results.

In the meantime, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) brought Esther over to Ridge since Esther insisted on delivering her order in person.

Countess Von Frankfurt (Marie Osmond) brought over her order as well and demanded the same dress that Esther wanted.

Since Countess Von Frankfurt was an extremely influential patron, she refused to wear a gown that was owned by this “simpleton.”

Ridge insisted that Esther put her request in first, so she’d get the gown. Countess Von Frankfurt was insulted, so she warned that she’d never buy another Forrester original or shop at Fenmore’s again!

Ridge and Lauren didn’t seem to care, especially since Esther was so thrilled with her new dress.

Esther agreed to come back to Los Angeles for the fitting and possibly dinner, but she was all set to return to Genoa City for now.

Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) eventually approached Esther, so they hoped to see each other when she returned to LA. Before Esther left, Charlie pulled her into a big kiss.

Esther was flustered enough to almost forget her gown, but Charlie reminded her to take it and got another kiss on the cheek.

Over with Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) on Tuesday’s B&B episode, he invited Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) to grab drinks with the rest of the team later.

After everyone left the fashion show area, Eric gazed at the empty chairs under dim lights and imagined his dazzling gowns were being shown off once more.

Donna came up behind Eric and held him close before he reflected on this being his “last hoorah.”

Eric talked about his final collection and how he had to win this showdown to maintain his leadership role as the founder of Forrester Creations.

Once Eric said Ridge couldn’t take that away from him, Donna shared a warm embrace with the man she loved.

In the main office, Ridge gave someone a quote for a news story over the phone and quizzed Carter about the fashion feud results. Carter confessed that one collection sold out while the other didn’t.

Ridge assumed he was the winner, so he pushed Carter to tell him that he beat his old man. Carter seemed a bit pensive over the results and the secret that he was now keeping.

After Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) interrupted RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) close moment with Luna, she congratulated him on a great show.

Brooke privately told RJ that Luna seemed like a sweet girl and that she could tell they cared about each other.

However, Brooke was really there because she was troubled about Eric and could tell something was bothering RJ.

Once Brooke put a bit more pressure on him, RJ finally cracked and said he couldn’t hold onto this secret any longer.

RJ added that there was something Brooke, Ridge and everyone in the entire family needed to know.

After RJ swore that he wanted to tell Brooke before, he said Donna did, too.

Brooke could tell this was causing a huge weight on RJ, so she urged him to just talk to her. RJ admitted that the reason Eric kept calling this his grand finale was that he was dying.

Brooke was stunned over RJ’s updates and gaped as she tried to process this horrible revelation.
