General Hospital spoilers leak Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) mulled over his options for a few days after Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) told him the truth — that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was behind the SEC scandal that nearly got his mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), thrown in prison.

But it didn’t take him long to realize he didn’t have the heart to bust up his father’s newfound happiness in the wake of his island nuptials.

Instead, he decided he would ruin Nina’s joy instead. Ripping Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and her grandchildren away from her in such a covert fashion has left Nina devastated.

While Michael expects she will fall in line and abide by his terms — or else — Nina is going to be desperate enough to hold onto Willow that she may give her daughter the one thing Michael won’t: The truth.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos’s Secrets Pile Up

Before they got married, Michael was plotting some pretty serious and dangerous revenge games against his father — and he didn’t tell Willow anything about them.

Only after they said their vows did he clue her in. Fortunately, she wasn’t cool with any of it and pushed him to call it all off — and he did. But practically a few minutes later, his mother was pulling him back into that world and pleading with him to look out for Sonny from afar.

Agreeing to it, Michael has continued to pay Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to work for Sonny, but report back to him on his father’s business. Willow remains in the dark.

GH Spoilers – Reveal Nina Reeves Is The Bearer Of Truth

Nina will have no chance at staying in her family’s life if she lets Willow hear the truth from anyone but her. Coming clean and doing so before Michael can clue her in is just what she needs to try to paint herself as the bigger person.

At the same time, it’ll let her throw Michael under the bus for keeping the truth about Nina’s involvement in the SEC case a secret just so he could weaponize it against her and cut her out of Willow’s life.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Could Lose His Wife

Happy wife, happy life, right? Willow is going to be none too happy when she learns how Michael has treated her birth mother.

She and Nina were becoming so close. Don’t get it twisted though; Willow isn’t going to be cool with what Nina has done with Carly or Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Apart from them both being people she loves dearly, Nina promised her she wouldn’t take another strike at Carly. She may try to explain what happened, but that doesn’t mean Willow is going to believe her.

Still, she may have bigger fish to fry than worrying about her relationship with her mother if it turns out she can’t trust her husband. It would be just like Nina to cut off her own nose to spite her face this way.
