Chad Duell is a dad!

The General Hospital actor, 35, welcomed his first baby with girlfriend Luana Lucci, 24, the couple revealed on Instagram last week.

“Welcome to the world lil Dawson 👶🏻 Been quite the journey.. can’t wait to see the great man you become 🙌🏻 @luanalucci,” the new dad, who plays Michael Corinthos on the long-running soap, captioned the shot

The couple first announced that they were expecting a baby in early March, revealing that Lucci was due in September. “We are adding a new member to the Duell family 💙,” Lucci wrote in the caption. “WE ARE HAVING A BABY BOY @duelly #parentstobe.”

In the post, Lucci revealed photos of her bump as well as a video of the actor shooting a bow and arrow to pop a balloon, which left a splatter of blue paint that revealed the baby’s sex to the couple.

In May, the actor shared a post of the couple’s pregnancy photos, writing a lengthy caption to honor the big change in their lives.

“We are thrilled that we are getting a precious addition to our lives! 💫👶,” he began his caption.

“Though surprising, we’re embracing this blessing wholeheartedly. We’re ready for the ups and downs, the sleepless nights, and the immeasurable love that awaits us. ❤️💪.”

“Our hearts are already overflowing with excitement as we eagerly await the arrival of our little miracle :),” he ended the post. In the photos, Duell wrapped his arms around Lucci, cradling her bump. Standing on the beach, they smiled into the camera together.

In June, Duell honored his girlfriend with a sweet post on Instagram. “Happy birthday love ❤️ Been a wild yet blessed year, and I’m lucky to have spent it with you! 🎂 🎈 🎊 @luanalucci,” he wrote in the caption.

Sharing a carousel of photos, the couple smiled together in a selfie, posed together on a hike and took a photo in front of a staircase.
