General Hospital’s Kelly Thiebaud Returns to Her Old Stomping Grounds: ‘Starting to Feel Nervous!’
It’s nearing a year since we last saw Kelly Thiebaud on General Hospital and many of her fans are still grieving Britt’s death. Though the Port Charles doctor suffered from Huntington’s disease, it had been the Hook Killer — Heather Webber — who had taken her life…
Britt had been waiting for a boat to arrive, with plans to leave town, when she spotted the Hook chasing Josslyn. Not one to stand back and hide, Britt intervened and was able to save Joss — and Dex arrived and saved Britt — however, it had been too late… She had already been scratched by the poisonous hook and ended up dying in her mother Liesl’s arms on The Haunted Star.
Even though the character’s exit left fans reeling, what happened in Britt’s life leading up to that January scene is what helped land Thiebaud a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Those who have followed her journey since leaving the ABC soap, know that she moved to the United Kingdom to be with her boyfriend but yesterday, Wednesday, December 13, she arrived back to her old stomping grounds — Los Angeles!
