General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 12, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will come clean to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about setting himself up in that raid down by the docks.

Of course, Sonny felt confident that he’d get off the hook based on the bogus proof, but Nina will point out that things could’ve gone wrong.

However, Sonny will feel like it was worth the risk and will stand by his decision despite Nina’s concerns.

The goal was to set a trap for the mystery boss that Sonny’s going up against, so he’ll feel good about making that judgment call.

Sonny doesn’t know it just yet, but Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is the one targeting him behind the scenes. You can bet Cyrus will be furious when he receives news on the phony evidence and the dismissed charges.

As for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll spend some time reconnecting with Sonny in Tuesday’s GH episode. Michael will have a confession to make, so he may admit he’s relieved that Sonny didn’t get locked up.

Although Michael previously schemed with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to put Sonny in the slammer, he now understands what a disaster that’d be. Instead, Michael will make more progress when it comes to rebuilding his relationship with his father.

Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will have a new case to crack – and it looks like it’ll be related to Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) ALS diagnosis.

There’ll be some hints that confuse Chase, so Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) might mention how her grandpa scared her when he tumbled while babysitting.

Chase may struggle to put together a few other clues as well when it comes to Gregory’s strange behavior lately.

The truth about Gregory’s illness will hit Chase hard when the time comes, so stay tuned to watch the buildup.

At Kelly’s, it seems Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will return and find Jake Webber (Hudson West) sharing a milkshake with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

When Liz realizes Charlotte and Jake are enjoying a date together, she’ll be taken aback as she tries to process how quickly they grew up!

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will dread the idea of Violet dating one day, but Elizabeth will tease him a bit and point out that it’s happening whether he likes it or not.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will also chat with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) at Charlie’s Pub, so he may offer some guidance on how to patch things up with Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith).

At Ferncliff, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will blow her top once she gets updates on Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) making a break for it with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).

After Gladys berates Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickard) for letting Cody flee with her daughter-in-law, she’ll realize Nina needs to hear about Sasha’s abduction – though it was obviously more of a rescue!

Cody was desperate to get Sasha out of a bad situation, but now they’ll have to hide at a cabin in the middle of nowhere for a while.

Sasha will sob over not having anyone left who cares about her, but Cody will assure Sasha that he’s in her corner and plans to help her through this crisis.

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will start the difficult detox process, so Cody will do his best to support her despite the agony ahead.
