Selina & Mason’s Secret Meeting Revealed – Poses Major Threat to Sonny

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) recently met with someone mysterious in the alley. The show kept that person offscreen, but Mason’s demeanor in the August 22 episode offered a huge hint about who he was seeing.

Mason put his hands together and did a little bow as he thanked this offscreen person for taking the time to see him.

Bowing is a sign of respect and gratitude in Asian cultures, so it seemed like maybe Mason was meeting with Ms. Selina Wu (Lydia Look).

If that’s the case, GH fans have to consider what Mason is up to – especially now that we know he’s working for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

It certainly seems like Cyrus has established an alliance or at least wants to establish an alliance with Selina.

Of course, it’s possible Cyrus is setting Selina up for a downfall.

Selina could be a target just as much as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is a target, so that’s something to keep in mind.

Even so, Mason may have met with Selina for a strategy session that will affect Sonny in some way.

Selina has a different alliance with Sonny, but it’s always been a bit shaky since Selina is so power-hungry.

It’s clear that Selina can’t be trusted, so perhaps Cyrus is counting on that and plans to use her to double-cross Sonny if she hasn’t already.

Selina would absolutely betray Sonny if the benefits outweighed the risks and consequences.

Regardless, the fact that Selina seems to be meeting with Mason can only lead to trouble!

Selina is a wildcard who always looks out for number one, so more drama should be headed Sonny’s way.

Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) warned Ava Jerome (Maura West) that his boss wanted to take Sonny out, so Cyrus may be hoping for Selina’s help as he plots Sonny’s grim fate.

Selina would love to take over Sonny’s territory with him out of the picture, so she might be open to any ideas that Cyrus passes along through Mason.
