General Hospital Spoilers reveal Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) love for wife, Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) may live on — in the life of their child. Brando’s sudden death as a result of The Hooker attacking him will be one of the most traumatic experiences his family will ever have to endure. Sasha and Brando’s mother — Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) — especially are due a little happiness at this point, and that’s just what she’s going to get.

Pregnancy tests might have evolved to tell women the second they’re expecting at this point, but Sasha will be so overwhelmed by grief over Brando’s death that she won’t initially pick up on the signs that her body is giving her. At first, she’ll just feel tired. She and everyone around her will default to thinking she’s going through the grieving process and has been a real trooper for handling all of Brando’s affairs while also battling the issue of who her legal guardian will be.

As Sasha attempts to return to work, intermittent nausea will lead her business partners Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to assume it’s too much for her, but Sasha will push through and insist work is just the distraction she needs for her mind and that her body will catch up later. Eventually, Sasha will feel so poorly that her friends urge her to see a doctor while secretly worrying she may have relapsed. A trip to GH will reveal Sasha isn’t high or depressed, but with child!

GH Spoilers — A Reason To Live Again

The news that Sasha has a baby on board will floor her. Although she’ll be overdue for good news, it’ll also be a lot for her to take in without Brando by her side. The pregnancy will bring back both good and bad memories for Sasha. Gladys, Lucy, Maxie, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will provide the strongest circle of love, seeing her through the pregnancy.

When Sasha’s baby bump starts to emerge again, she might have to endure some flashbacks of what it was like to be pregnant for the first time with her son, Liam Mike Corbin, who died shortly after birth due to a placental hemorrhage that left him without an oxygen supply for too long. Brando’s absence will be heightened as Sasha goes through milestones like feeling the baby’s first kick and having a baby shower, but ultimately she will rejoice that Brando will live on through his child, despite her fears something will happen to the baby.
