Nina Headed to Ferncliff – Michael’s Actions Send Sonny’s Wife Over the Edge?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) finally escaped her Ferncliff nightmare, but could Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) be gearing up for one of her own?
Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) warned Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about the risks of taking away everything that matters to Nina.
That led to Martin recapping some of Nina’s past crimes and reminding Michael of what she was capable of.
Martin pointed out that Nina could make it her mission to retaliate and try to make Michael just as miserable, so this could blow back on Michael’s loved ones.
Nina has a history of mental instability that could certainly come back around if she loses Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and her grandkids.
Although Michael intends to hold Nina’s SEC blabbing over her and make her go along with his orders, that could still lead to trouble.
Michael is playing with fire and just might get burned, especially if Martin’s warning was a hint about Nina coming unhinged and causing bad news.
One way or another, GH spoilers say Nina’s role in reporting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for insider trading has to come out.
Whether Michael later exposes the truth intentionally or perhaps lets the recording fall into someone else’s hands, Nina will be revealed as the SEC snitch sooner or later.
If that destroys Nina’s life, she could become a dangerous woman with nothing left to lose. Martin might be right about Nina reverting to wild behavior and going after vengeance.
Of course, Nina could land at Ferncliff if her insanity leads to her committing actual crimes and posing a safety risk in Port Charles.
Then again, there might be a situation where Michael or perhaps Carly simply makes it seem like Nina’s lost her marbles.
Could Carly eventually want Nina locked up at Ferncliff to make her pay for her role in sending Drew to prison?
No matter how this plays out, Nina could easily land in Ferncliff down the road. Maybe Nina’s perfect life will crumble into disaster and leave her feeling trapped with no way out!
