Kassie DePaiva Returns to GH as Blair Cramer – Reprises One Life to Live Role
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kassie DePaiva is set to make a big comeback. On the heels of DePaiva’s return to Days of Our Lives as Eve Donovan, now she’s reprising her One Life to Live role by bringing Blair Cramer back to Port Charles.
TV Line confirms that DePaiva will show up for a brief stint, which will kick off in September. Plenty of daytime drama fans will be happy to see DePaiva again, especially since she’s portraying such a classic character.
After OLTL ended its original run, Kassie DePaiva appeared on GH as Blair just a couple months later. That was back in March 2012, so a lot has changed in Port Charles since then – including who Roger Howarth (Austin Gatlin-Holt) is playing!
One Life to Live viewers will recall that Howarth played Todd Manning, who was romantically involved with Blair back in their Llanview days. Of course, Howarth went on to portray Franco Baldwin before he met a grim fate – and now he’s playing the secretive Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt.
GH writers probably won’t be able to resist giving a little nod to Todd and Blair’s romance. Perhaps there’ll be a moment when Blair seems vaguely familiar to Austin for some reason – or maybe they’ll have an offscreen connection that’ll be explained.
Regardless, letting former One Life to Live stars reprise their roles seems to be the trend lately on General Hospital.
Walt Willey already stepped back into OLTL’s Jackson Montgomery’s shoes recently for a short stint of his own – and he’s set to appear on August 29 and August 30 as well.
As for what Blair will be up to when she comes back to Port Charles, the show’s keeping a tight lid on the details. However, we know Blair will plan to meet with someone, who’ll text her to reveal that they’re running late due to some car trouble.
That news will leave Blair on edge, so she’ll undoubtedly come to town with some secrets to reveal!
