Josslyn Stops Adam’s Bridge Jump – Frantic Plea to Save a Life?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Adam Wright (Joshua Benard) may have offered a clue about where his storyline is headed next. It’s clear that Adam’s under a terrible amount of pressure from his parents, who want him to be a doctor and won’t accept anything less than perfection when it comes to his grades.
When Adam was awaiting the results of his makeup test recently, his mind went to a pretty bleak place.
Adam acted like he might as well just jump off a bridge if his test results weren’t good enough, but Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) quickly warned him not to say things like that.
Although Adam apologized and blamed his bad sense of humor on his nerves, there was probably something more to that statement.
It seemingly set the stage for Adam to decide to end his own life somewhere down the road.
Josslyn mentioned that Adam was alone for Thanksgiving, so that news saddened Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Carly would’ve invited Adam to attend their own celebration if she’d known, so maybe she’ll push Josslyn to invite Adam over at Christmas.
Unfortunately, Adam has proven that he’ll lie when the truth isn’t convenient – just like he deceived his overbearing father about having to take Josslyn to the ER.
Adam didn’t want to tell his dad that he was the one who caused them to miss the initial test instead.
This time Adam might lie to Josslyn about already being busy for the holidays. Adam’s plan to go home for Christmas could easily fall through and leave him all alone when he’s already vulnerable.
It’s possible Adam could overdose on all the pills he keeps popping, but that “joke” about jumping off a bridge seemed awfully telling.
Could Adam head down to the footbridge and try to end it all on Christmas Eve?
That’s one option to consider, especially since it’d allow Josslyn to perhaps discover that Adam is missing and track him down in the nick of time.
It’s easy to imagine Josslyn literally trying to talk Adam off the ledge.
There’s even a chance that Josslyn might put her own life in danger if she gets too close to the edge while trying to pull Adam back.
It’d be quite the twist if Joss ends up dangling and has to get yanked back up by Adam and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer)!
Of course, a scenario like this doesn’t necessarily have to play out on a bridge.
Maybe the hint wasn’t meant to be that literal if Adam tries to end his own life on the GH roof or somewhere like that instead.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Adam may ultimately feel like he just can’t handle the pressure anymore, so stay tuned for updates on how far he’ll sink.
